thanks everyone.

Wow, you have a lot of recognition with that car. It is by far the baddest looking 91 Z28 I've ever seen. I have been to a lot of car shows over the years and the styling of that Z is just beyond words.
Too bad there isn't any higher res pics....so....
I've made a wallpaper for you Kandied91Z using the pics from the GMHTP website. PM me if your interested in the full size. It's 1152x870.

thanks for the kind words on the wallpaper I made. It's pretty easy to make a cool looking wallpaper when you have a really cool subject.
It was created using Photoshop CS. I sort of do these as a side business (WDRdesign.com), so I have done a lot of these types of wallpapers.
My PM inbox was pretty full this morning when I checked it.
I'll have to check out the magazine for myself. It's nice to see them starting to get some good recognition and support in the mags now.

I'm not trying to hi-jack this thread but I got a new burst of creativity and came up with another wallpaper of Kandied's car.

i like it, i think the sitting still pictures might work better though. i wonder what it would look like if you got rid of the car in motion and just had things accented in red like you do for the background. since it is a background it might look even better. i also like how you didn't try to throw to much into it.
looks great.
looks great.

so Kandy, did you just start sending pictures of your iroc to magazines , or did you already know someone in the industry? How did you convince them to put your car in after bugging them for years? Is there any kind of Kandy colored black? That is very cool that a third gen is getting recognized so greatly, and i want to see it some more. Help w/ details on how you got your car out there, and what it takes to make it! Im sure the people of this site would greatly appreciate it. thanks!!

hey billsfirebird!!!
do you think when i get my fresh paint in the next couple weeks you could make me some kind of cool picture like that of my car to get framed for a personal pic to keep of my car. that is really cool how you did that, and if i could get something like that done and framed of my car i would be very happy. what is this high res. picture people are talking about and what do they look like? can you do them? thanks

once you get your car to that certain point making it well balanced you can start to push like i did. my car was no where near what it was when i first started. i just took advice from others who had been the route i wanted to go and advice from editors that i had tried to speak with. eventually things came together but it didn't happen over night.
good luck with it.
