Thats a riceboy in American car!!
EEEEEWWWWWWW!! what an ugly interior.
The wheels didnt look that bad but you might have to do some serious lowering to get the right look.(talk to mr.irocz)How come he got such wide rims with such narrow tires. He could fit 275's on those rims with no problem. You might want to look at 2000 SS chrome rims, same idea they just look better.
good luck

Rice Boy...? So What! I think it looks really good, and he's got a lot of money tied up in that rig and that makes it nice no matter what it looks like. I've been looking for rims for a long time and I can't decide. Some of the ones I've chosen have been considered "*****". As far as the interior, you can blame GM for an ugly interior...! Although the yellow was a poor choice.

Those are ok rims. I agree though, the car is rice. LoL. He spent tons of money on the body with stickers and chromed out his 305 and wire covered everything but it would get SMOKED in a race with any of our cars. I don't care how fast he thinks it goes with chrome on it and a K&N, But the rims are pretty cool. I am looking at another set, the ROH ZS rims. Now those look bad on our cars.

That camaro is haneous. But as we all know, cheaply painted yellow interior components add a lot of horsepower. I will say that everything was obviously professionally done, I just hate how it looks. If he got rid of those awful rims, front fog lights and *Jimbo ducks* spoiler, then chose a color other than yellow for the interior accents, and got rid of the junk on the motor, then I'd start liking it. Of course, then it would look just like mine . Whoever installed the stereo and did the custom interior work (sans the yellow trim) was quite talented.

I will have to say that car looks good. Rice? I don't think so, IMO. The only thing I would have never done to it is all the games (playstation) and VCR stuff, but I drag race, and it looks like he likes to show it off more. One thing is for sure, it is not a race car. Looks good! How about that sound system, WOW, I bet that is loud.....
The wheels will look good on any f-body, IMO. Good luck affording the wheels and tires in the 18" range, pricey$$$$$$

Hey Guys....that's a bad-*** IROC-Z except for the wheels...(sorry). The interior is trick. This guy spent alot of money on the car. The rims should however be more "Muscular" looking.
At least that's whatI would reccomend....That has to be a show car...the interior has had to cost atleast a couple of grand.
Thanks

Hi ZROCKY,
Well....here's my car with 18'IROC-Z rims. Tell me which look better...the Z-Rims or the Rice Rims? Your car can look like this too!
Notice there is no wheel well gap. The rice IROC-Z had gaps...not good

I thought the car was about as ugly as it can get. Interior that is. The exterior is not bad at all. Rims could be a little meaner looking but for the most part it's not bad. Paint job is nice as well as the hood. But the interior... well, the yellow atleast it's just plain ugly.

Hmm...If you look at my car above, I have chosen to go with a Black and Yellow schema for the interior. Even the MOMO seats I had to custom order Black and Yellow, and I have received nothing but praise for my car.....so I wonder why the yellow in the ***** car looks bad?
Thanks

I'm not sure why I have to defend this guy - whoever he is, but lets face that facts... There aren't too many choices as far as third gen wheels go. Consider the options...
1. He could have bought 15"
2. He could have bought a Mustang
And just to bust Mr. IROC-Z's cubes , I see your damn car more than my own. Every post on thirdgen.org has a picture of your car (It does look plush), but what do the guys with the 91-92 body do - IROC wheels just don't look right. I'm just bitter because I can't decide and I wish they made the 91-92 wheels in 18"

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the compliment I guess...? But the reason why my car is up here so much is to give you guys a way to style your cars. I will soon open up a new page called iroczdesigns.com, which will be devoted to styling ques for our cars. Let's face it...there are some people out there that do not know how to fix up their cars. I can definetly give you many many choices of rims for your car. You just have to be willing to spend the money to make your car look great.
Thanks

Thats a cool look. I'm gonna go with black with mine too, should look just like that except I might go with the SS hood from ASCD. Is your car lowered??? If so how much? One more thing, does anyone know where they can direct me to some pictures of a car with the ss hood on it. I think the one in ASCD does not do it any justice and would like to see a different view (ie side, top, etc...)

I want to get these rims.
These are the 4 lug but I called and they can make them in a 5 lug for our cars. I would upgrade to a 16x8 which they make for. These would look TIGHT on a white of black car. What do u think?

That car wasn't all that bad, he did go a little to far on it though. If I was gonna put a tv, playstation and VCR in something, I'd get a Navigator or an Escalade and do that. The rims were ok, but not for a Third Gen. I like the American Racing Torque Thrust II rims personally. When I get the money some of those in 17s are going on my car!

I know he spent some bills on that car but I hve to ask if Ronald Mcdonald is a co-owner on it. Why the hell would you put a playstation in a camaro....its not a honda civic.

Hey Guys,
It seems that there is some misunderstandings
from some memebers of the board. I am not
trying to say that my car is better that any of yours. I am however trying to share my knowledge with you because of all the complex things I have done with the car.
Thanks

I personally dont like it. Its a litte to bright for my taste. Since im not in my teens any more maybe thats the reason. I've found that in my old age (33!!!) that I prefer to blend than stand out. I think the rims are fine if there were silver. The yellow interior......ahh...ummmm.
Still, if we all liked the same thing we would not have to sit here and chat!!!
For all u Camaro guys....
I found a manufacturer that makes a IROC rim (18 x 8) and i was told they have a chev bolt pattern. They are ruffly 200 a wheel. Check them out here

p.s.
That black rag with the 18's is way to trick!!!

Mr. Iroc-Z, where did you get those pedal covers? Those look sweet! Every other one I've seen looks so cheap, but those are the kind I'm looking for. Thanks!

American Eagle makes nice style #203 rims that fit our cars perfectly... on 16, 17, and maybe 18'' rims.

Hey odin, pull your head out of your *** and realize what he was saying. He didnt say that no one else can style their car, but face it that first car looked like a pile of ****, and it had a ****ty chromed 305 to go with it. Give me a break id rather ride the bus then be caught dead in a riced out american car like that. Besides, I think 17 or 18 inch Iroc style rims look the best, there are others too but thats just what I would go with

you know what they always say "jealousy is the best compliment". i personally like your car, it is obvious that you spent alot of time/work and money on this project. all that matters is that you (and hopefully your wife) like it and enjoy driving it. i was really impressed with the custom install on the stereo, i know RF products fairly well and know that the symmetry and those amps arent cheap at all. as for the rims, i like them alot, but i have to admit, i have seen some better lookin ones. but hey, your car rocks!
A special message to all those who insist on trying to make fun of, dissin, or are just plain ignorant and mean: your tastes and prefrences are what makes you different from all other americans, so encourage people to be different and stop being negative. cuz after all, NONE OF YOU PEOPLE ARE PERFACT (except maybe for vader) hehe

Not sure,,,but I don't think that's his car since he said he found that siteand was wanting opinions on the wheels. maybe I'm wrong. The wheels on that car look like crap,,, chrome plated wheels in most cases don't look right on 3rd gens.
And yellow,,, looks like crap on red,,, unless you're trying to make orange(which is still pretty ugly on these cars). just my opinion,,,which is what was originally asked for,,,negative or not.

Since we are all throwing our opinions around...
18 inch wheels look like **** on any F-body, made in any year. 17's are the way to go, any bigger looks nasty.
Chrome wheels are ugly, when I look at a car with chrome wheels, all i see are the wheels, the take too much attention off the rest of the car. IROC wheels look nasty without the paint on the parts that are supposed to have paint.
Yellow on the rice camaro looks bad just because its a half *** "lets spray paint some interior plastic yellow". You have custom seats, that look nice, and aren't a half *** job don't with a can of paint.
Those momo wheels look like **** on a camaro. Put them on a slammed civic. Still would look like ****, but would be more at home.

In most cases I think the 18s look disproportunate, but twice I've seen them work. The first was on the Orange Peel Camaro. It's a 68 camaro with 18" Budnik rims.
The next that I've liked is the new 302 Camaro at the SEMA show with 18" Torque Thrust rims.

of Hey goober, maybe you should pull your head out of your own a$$ and read mr.Z's post again. What he wrote is nothing short of pure arrogance.
What he said was that his car is on this site so much, so that it can give us guy's a way to style our cars. Then he said he was going to open a new web site, because a lot of people out here don't know how to fix their cars. Well you know what, maybe he did'nt mean to come across so arrogant, but he did and that's what I responded to. By the way, I'm not crazy about every aspect of the red camaro, but whoever built it is and I have to much class than to call it a pile of sh*t. If you do'nt like someone's car, say you don't like it, instead of degrading it. Maybe you should post some pictures of your wreck, so I can call it a pile of sh*t!

Give me a break id rather ride the bus then be caught dead in a riced out american car like that. Besides, I think 17 or 18 inch Iroc style rims look the best, there are others too but thats just what I would go with

Having a playstation in your car must mean its slow or maybe just for cruisin. We all know that any passenger in our cars should be holding on for dear life, or at least keeping an eye out for the law.

I don't like the rims too much. I do like the stock looking 18" rims. That looks just too good. About the playstation in car, that is a little odd. I mean wouldn't you rather install a computer that has a TV tuner card, play better games, and play mp3s? That's what I have planned for the future but AFTER I replace my crap LO3 engine. Is there a slower engine other thanthe LO3, I know the LG4 but what the heck, why did GM even make these? I really believe that the L0 stands for low output. It is impressive that I can still hang with my my friends taurus SHO (super high output). But that's a ford.

I can apprieciate ANY type of customization on ANY car. Anybody who wants to do a little work to make their car (or truck) look different is what it's all about. Even the ricers and mini-truck guys get a nod and a "whassup" from Me and they all know it, around here. I don't understand where all this anger comes from...
A statement I've said over and over throughout the years is,.. "that's cool...I wouldn't have it.. but it's cool"
If You think something's ugly, it ain't like You've got to drive it! jeese...

Everything I know I learned by messing it up at least once.

I don't really like that car either, but the worse his car looks, the better mine looks so i'm not mad. Also, if everyone's car looked the same as you want your car to look, yours would not be anything special, just another 3rd gen.
As for rims, to me, sometimes the chrome IROCs look like plastic, I don't know why, and other times they look bad ***.
THe PS is overkill, to me, especially in my bumpy *** car, it wouldn't work worth a damn
just my couple a haypennies
