not ridiculous....there's plenty out there that are much much more. But when comparing them to the IROCS, yes they are way off in price (plus if you go off of the prices on boydcoddington.com they are way overpriced as well). The wheels I got from them list as being 631 bucks a wheel, add it up and its over 2400 for the rims alone...yet I got all 4, with rubber, lugs, stems and balanced for just under 2800

I just watched the pilot episode of American hotrod myself yesterday, and although I have always considered Boyd to be the man, I felt he acted a bit as an ******* on the show. I didn't know if this was just a coincidence, everybody has bad days you know, but it's funny you say this about Boyd after whatching the show.
It seems Boyd is the kind of guy who keeps his guys in place by yelling and using pressure to make them perform. That's a bad way to do things, but I know this works, only you won't have your employees staying with you over time. And then you loose skill and experience. I always look on th age of the employees when I evaluate how it would be to work in a company. If it's mostly very young people, and few to none mid or old age, that's a sign of unhealthy work climate.
Seems that Chip Foose is the very opposite type of leader, one that stimulates people to perform and gets the worker excited about the work. At least that how it seems to be after whaching Am.hotrod and overhaulin.
Cool wheels though, and hard choice. If pressed I would say "dictator" They seem more radical, to me at least.

yea on tv Foose is alot more laid back than Boyd....but did you see the episode where Boyd rented the bouncy-boxing ring? He had two of his employees (Bluebear and someone I cnat remember) go at it in the ring because they were at a dispute....classic!.....sorry didnt mean to get off topic though, I didnt mean to get off topic. I'd pick the Timeless but you'd have to have some decent brakes to show off behind the wheel or it looks dorky
