LMFAO!!! I didn't even look at the name of the author of this thread before I clicked the link, and when I looked at the car I was like "Wait....that looks like Kandied's car....I think it IS Kandied's car! Holy Crap Kandied they used your ca........wait you posted it....."

I'm still in denial that you sold that thing....what are your plans for the next one?

I am in love with those wheels!!!! I like the z06 wheels a lot too but I may have to fork over the extra cash for those instead.

That actually looks like RexOrr selling that hood... he isthe owner of ASCD, one of our sponsors. I dunno if he has permission to use Jeff's car, but I'm sure he does.

Hey Jeff, do you know where I can find prices on some of their other rims? I saw several interesting choices for my Tahoe

Thanks!

i mainly posted it to show that our cars can look just as nice as all the other cars on that page like the mercedes, lexus and other high end models. just showing that it's possible to build a thirdgen and change the way many look at them.

as far as the ebay link. i never noticed it before however it does look like it's posted up by ASCD which rex is in fact a part of. they are one of my sponsors and a great company to work with so yes they have full permission to use any of my pictures for their use.

thanks for looking guys, just slowing trying to change the way the world looks at thirdgens, one article/webpage at a time.

ChevyKen the prices are very comparable between boyd and budnik. if you go to their website you'll find a contact page, email them and ask for larry the owner or his son zack. let them know what your interested in and a round about idea of what you think you should pay. depending on wheel size anywhere from 2-400 is the norm, options also change this though. my wheels retailed for just under $800 a piece but if you search you can find them as cheap as $350 depending on your options and where you buy out of. after your searching and contact if you still need help just email me and i'll see what i can do.

bruce, i can't say what's going on with the new car.... just yet. it shouldn't disappoint though. i'm taking some time off for this one.

hood and rims that compliment each other on a clean thirdgen will change the minds of people out there. nothing real elaborate. just alittle something that aint stock, that they havent seen before.

a clean car that is stock and doesnt have much mods other than rims and a hood will get looks and compliments. Hell even a clean thirdgen for that matter with all stock will get complements.

this is very true about even a clean thirdgen getting comments

my car is far from perfect but still regulary get comments about it cause it is very clean compared to 95% of the other ones
its funny because most of the comments i get are from the older generations (40 to 60 year olds) even though im a teenager driving it, makes me feel good to drive a clean car

and kandied your car is the sweetest thirdgen there is, even if it aint your car anymore

Thanks for the input !!
Appreciate the offer as well - seems like Im always in need of some help getting parts over here LOL. I swear too many people/companies automatically raise the fraud flag or something as soon as they see the words "international shipping" :lala:

Heh not only does it fit in with all those Lexus's, Beemers, Mercede's, etc, it's the cleanest car on that page. It doesn't just hang with 'em, it runs 'em over
But that red vette looks dang nice too.
I was thinking 2 grand for the c5 (y2k) wheels, tires, and adapters, but if I can run a wheel close to Kandied's for about that price then I am ALL for it. I'm gonna research 'em.
