POLISHED 18 Inch Iroc Rims!!!
Hey guys what do you think if i purchased sum 18 inch polished irocs(autogoodies.com) and painted (the parts where stock irocs are painted)them gunmetal grey .i would leave the rest of the wheel the way it is. since i dont know the right way, i would use rattle can primer, paint , and clear(unless it isnt necessary, please tell me) . How would this look, cheap, would it get chipped easy ?? please inform me i really want to accent these beautiful wheels , it gives them contrast that will really set them off!!!!

it will but it doesnt shine too well, and you will need clear. It should be ok if you keep wax on it tho. The most important part of the process for detailed stufff like that is taping it right.

Two guys painted inserts on polished rims and have pics posted. They are Nazzz28 and StngKlr. Check it out and maybe you can Private Message them to see what paint type and method they used. Best of Luck

rattle can primer paint and clear will work, and yes if you do it this way you will need to clear it
preferably you would get the grey powdercoated on, as far as i know this would be the best route
no chipping or any other problems
