Anyone got pics of a thirdgen with 35% tint all around? I'd LIKE to stay legal, but i gotta see what 35% looks like before i decide...

I have 35% on the sides, but 20% on the back, hopefully this pic will help a little.

35% is way too light . We have 35 on the sides of our gtp and 20 on the rear window and its too light . Get 15 % or 20 % all around .

k.....is it that big of a difference that a cop would know immediatly or what? i just have horrible luck when it comes to doing ANYTHING "illegal" or "wrong", lol
I know that out of the thousands of people that do something, i'll ALWAYS end up being the ONE person who gets screwd. hahaha

wel last night i stripped my old peeling tint off... for some reason i had 2 layers of tint on my windows now there crystal clear. i talked to the chick at the tint place and she said to stay away from limo tint... cops notice that.. she said go inbetween illegal ad legal and go with 15% on the sides... she seemed really cool.. a cop was in the shop trying to get tint and she had to pull me outside to talk with me cause she didnt wanna get into trouble
anyways if u want good tint go with 15% thats my personal opinion...

20% isn't that dark. Here in Illinois, we aren't allowed to have any tint on the front windows. I have 20% and I've never gotten a ticket. On the 4th of July I got stopped for "excessively loud exhaust" and when the cop saw my back window was tinted (which is legal), he asked if I had the sides done. I told him yes and he asked me to roll it up. He shined his light through it and let me go. I think the real reason he stopped me was to check to see if I had any alcohol or fireworks in my car.

go with limo tint its wicked cool , but dont use it if the car is a daily driver or a car that you drive at night . But heres how dark it is , and its sunny out in this pic so it makes it look a little lighter.

during the day the 5% tint is real nice , you can see through it fine but no one can see in .

its a daily driver and will be driven in the night quite a bit (i work till like 10 usually, and its a 10 minute highway drive at 80 MPH away...)....
Pretty much i'm still having doubts about the color of the 'maro i'm buying (Silver....), and i figure that something to contrast the silver paint will be nice...

I have 20% rear on the 92 and it's a little dark at night. I'd say it's about the darkest I would go.

today i got my car tinted.. all around 15% and 5% tint low strip on the front... the cops might not like it but im gonna have him hop in my car and nootice that u sit real low and the only thing that the tint would block yer vision from is a overhead apache helicopter... im sick of police officers and there bs rules.. UNDERLIGHTS SHOULDNT BE ILLEGAL!!! some people think underlights arnt illegal except red and blue.. thats not true its more like J-walking crime lol... ive been around and around with the clearwater police department about my underlights... i told them they could eat it and there was nothing they could do.. harassment is a strong used word when fighting a police officer haha i get pulled over once a week for random stupid stuff...

well.. oh well
