Ewww......7.5" rim width? I wouldn't put that on my GTA no matter HOW much I like the design of the rim.

And believe me, I LIKE that rim, but I won't sacrifice handling ability for apperance. It may be different for you.

You'll need wheel adapters if its even possible. They may be able to help you. http://www.skulte.com/adapters.html

ok....he builds his wheels to order. why would you put a set of $3,000 minimum rims on a pontiac 6000? reguardless they'll fit, pick yourself up some adapters.

need to know more?

redraif has 4-lug FWD wheels on her Firebird. You might PM her and see where she got her adapters. Or email one of the places that sells adapters on eBay. There's 2-3 guys on there that advertise that they can make whatever you want.

FWD wheels have much higher offset that RWD wheels do.

Typically, the offset (relation of the mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel) is closer to 0 with RWD wheels, and +35mm or more with FWD cars.

Here's an example of RWD offset:

Here's an example of FWD offset:

Notice how the spokes are deeper inside the rim of the wheel in the first one? That's the difference.

but the whole FWD/RWD thing is misleading now...

for example, the C5 and C6 vettes, 4thgens, and lots of other RWD cars have "fwd" wheel offsets...

Yeah, really. They need to come up with another way of describing the offsets. FWD and RWD used to be fine until the early 90's.

i put ONE on my 6000 to find out if it was the bolt pattern i thought it was. also ill get the rims and brand new falken ZE 512s
for under $2000 canadian mabey even $1500. so with the money i save on them i could just get custom adapters made.

there you go then...while i don't particularly care for his wheel designs they are rather nice wheels but way over priced. if your getting a deal on them go for it and just use adapters.

simple as that.

I got my billet 2 plate adapters from salesco . One plate is the spacer, while the other is meant to change the lug pattern.

Here is a link to my page describing my set up.
