in an embarassing predicament, need help...
well, i am getting ready to soon buy some 16" IROC rims for my Z28. i currently have the stock 15" Z28 wheels. i cant afford to buy new tires for the 15" wheels that i would only use for a couple months anyhow, but my current tires are on the verge of blow out. i have a set of 195 (yea, i said 195 ) 60/R15 Kumhos that are in LIKE NEW condition. will these wheels fit on these rims? i know it will look :lala: but it would still save my butt for now...

Car: too many ...
You can make them fit but I would not consider it safe for daily driving. Very easy for the bead to break when you stretch the sidewalls. Your tire mounting shop will need a high pressure mounting machine, have them tie a rope around the tire (center of the tread), then use a pipe and twist it to compress the rope. This will push the sidewalls out enough for the bead to catch. Again, very unsafe for street driving, but if thats the only option you have, then its your choice.

well, i am gonna talk to some tire shops but i am thinking i will try to sell the tires to a used tire shop possibly in trade for some less retarded looking tires...lol. but if anyone knows or perhaps has actually done this (maybe SOMEWHERE along the way, lol) please let me know what i need to do if it IS possible...
thanks in advance!
