i heard that if u bag your car u'll get alot of wheel hop during a burnout unless u jack it up all the way and that it's not a performance item but for show. is that all true Kandied?

im not Kandied, but i know thats only true if you do it improperly. most of the air suspension myths and "facts" are from people that didnt know what they're doing... much in the way someone would say "carbs suck" if they didnt know how to tune one. just because you bolt it on, doesnt mean its working right.

anyhoo.... Kandied... pics of the strut, and where/how they mounted a tank, compressor and valves in a thirdgen without it lookling like crap.

i second that, i wanna see the uncensored pics of the car . I wanna see where they mounted the valves and controls. We never get to see many pics of your car besides the outside. Lets see that interior and how everything is mounted.

even with the valves in the back, i doubt you want a quicker rise time with the big red valves.. right?

the quicker it is, the more touchy....

We bagged my brothers truck, it had some wheel hop during burnouts when he had his 2 link setup, We fabbed our own 4 link setup and no wheel hop even all the way layed out, Hes laying it on rockers right now, His setup has 10 switches, can control each corner individually and side to side, front to back, etc.

::Edit:: Also I would recomend atleast a 3/8 line setup, a 1/4 inch line setup is hella slow in my opinion. My brother is running 1/2 inch lines on his now, and thinking of upgrading to dual port bags

Good point, If you just want adjustable height 1/4 would be good... My brother has pressure switches on each corner for height adjustment. When he turns them on, it will only raise to the exact ride height he wants...With the pressure switches off he can drop it to the ground or to full height at the flip of a switch

if and when I go with an air ride system...I don't want anything fancy....just something to set my ride height at shows...so I can lower it and raise it up....are there systems like that available? I really don't need one that goes side to side or anything like that....

if anyone in ontario canada is interested, i spoke to a guy in peterborough at darknights that will do our cars (bagged) for a decent price...

if my motor doesnt kill my funds the airbags will be done before the camaro nationals next year..

i love the stance jeff although it looks like you are a tad higher...

whats the height adjustment that you have?

the one im goin with drops the car 6 inches/... from stock height..

thats all i would want , just something to lower it real low at shows and then to a reasonable ride height when your driving around.

Car: too many ...
I know a guy locally that wanted the fastest possible change for his bagged truck so he upgraded his lines and converted to Nitrogen. Man I swear his truck is nuts, goes up and down WAY fast. But hey this guy is also crazy, he runs dual 12 gal tanks and sets it to dance in the parking lot for like 10 minutes while everyone trips out.
