Stock steel rims... but from what?

They look wide... and I kinda like them! They look like stock ones, but maybe 60-70's vintage?

They look like Corvette/Camaro Rally wheels from the 60s and early 70s but without the beauty rings and center caps. I could be wrong tho. Thats what my bro put on his '69 Camaro.

Did you email him? Or did I miss something! lol

Thanks for the info... the front 2 look like stock 80's Chevy hubcap rims. The back (now that I look at them) do look like 60's Camaro/Corvette.

Anyone else like the way the back rims look? What about if they were chromed? lol I think it would be pretty cool!

Early to mid 70's Corvette had 15 X 8's Monte Carlo's had the same looking wheel but were 15X 7. Early Camaro's had 15X 6 ralleys.

My father has a 73 ray, and he has kept the rally's, if they are the same ones then the are pretty rare, and they're 15/9's came with the bigblock vettes. If he had all four it would probably be worth some doe, those eary 70's vettes are starting to mature.

Aaron7 is correct, the fron't are just regular hubcap rims and the rears look to be 15x8 ralley's. I was thinking about putting 17" chrome ralley's on mine...think that would look good?

Fun Pain: Chevy never offered a 15 X 9 ralley wheel. They must be after market wheels. In 73 there were three wheel options, A stamped Steel wheel with wheel cover, the Ralley wheel, and a Cast Aluminum wheel. The Aluminum wheel was offered briefly then cancelled due to strenght problems. They reappeared in 76.

Can you run 15x8 corvette rallys on the 3rd gen without any problems? I know that the front and rear wheels are stamped as such, due to the offset. Will it matter with the 15x8s? Also anyone have a pic of a 3rd gen with rallys? Thnaks!
