the problem i'am having is they will not build a hot rod in a 9 1/2 wide, if they did then would go 17 / 9 /5.5 all the way around! i'am thinking going with 5.85 bs in a 10 on the rear front 4.5 sounds good!

I just recieved Boyd Coddington wheels thati ordered through Sportruck.com that were 17X9.5. Coddingtons' website lists almost all wheels available in 9.5 wide. My 9.5's were $25 more per wheel. http://www.billetwheel.com/Wheels/Bi...estructor.html

Transmission: 6speed from an unidentified 4th gen. ask me, ill tell you.
whoever told you they couldnt get em in 17X9.5 was lying. I went up to discount tire, got a quote from em for the same wheel, 375 each. It can be done.

doubtful in the gotcha series if it is reverse mount but anything is possible.
however why would you want 9.5 anyhow.....that extra point isn't worth it anyway. go 8/10 like mine and you'll be very happy. that or 8/9 setup will work too.
my b.s. is 4.75 and 6.75 with the 8/10 combo and it's every bit of perfect.

I don't see why? they are all made on a CNC, any specs can be punched in. Getting them to punch them in may cost more but its like 5 mins work for them. Find any guy with a CNC and make your own copies.
After that show on TV I do not like byod and his parts bin "hot rods" He also rubs me the wrong way. I bet that show hurt more business than it helped.
Anyone with a CNC can make cool rims.

I talked to the local tire shop here and they said they cannot make the hotrod in a 17 9.5 with the ls hoop or soft lip , i'am going with 17 by 10 , now what back space do i need with 285 40 17 i don't want the wheels stickin out, 6.75 bs i would have get the hammer out to make these wheels fit!

another note is that boyd does not make the hoops for these wheels and he only carries the ls hoop in a 8 or 10 inch for 17 inch wheels , you can get 8,9 or a 10 inch hoop in an 18 but now you get into more cost for wheels and rubber, i think a 17'' in a soft lip looks just as bling as 18'' with a standard style dish or a stepped style dish!

18 reverse mount deep dish will look as big as a 19 so this is true. yes you will have to get the hammer out to fit the rears in a 10" wide 6.75 backspacing but if you go with 8 up front and a 4.75 spacing then that's what you should do.
you can go one way and put a backspacing that will make them stick out or do your measurements so they fit right......
either way i hope you aren't putting 10s all around. that would really look bad.
