Z28 Spoiler on RS
Hawks has an aftermarket Z28 Spoiler, I was thinking it would be a nice addition to my car.
But I wanted some opinions, would it be kind of tacky having the z28 spoiler on a RS? Or would it just add to the idea of making my car custom?

It would look great if done right. i.e. removing the old wing, filling the side holes and painting, etc.
Nothing worse than one that is, well, um, half-assed. I have seen folks leave the old one on and have two spoilers, some have used rubber plugs in the side piece holes, etc. UGH. Some just don't understand "Do it right or just don't do it!"

Absolutely... DO IT!!!
But ffs, if you do do it, don't do it half @$$ed.
Make sure you remove the three piece and fill the holes!

Personal Opinion: An aftermarket hood, or perhaps hood blisters, goes a long way to complimenting your newly aquired Z28 hi-rise!

As long as you dont replace your RS badges with Z28 badges, that kinda bugs me. I plan on getting a Z28 wing in future, too, since aside from that and the 5" hawks spoiler there are not many choices for a 3rd gen. The Z28 wing works really well with the body, GM definitely did a good job with it.

You bet they did, looks awesome with the hood blisters. My car is having one put on as we speak and its a RS, I see nothing wrong with doing it. Better than some coat hanger spoilers i've seen.

Agreed, the z28 wing would just look completely wrong with the stock, flat RS hood.

I just saw the same spoiler on carpartswholesale.com for ~$130, but they didn't have a lot to say about it. So I don't know if the one from hawksthirdgen, better/stronger. But if anyone know what the difference between those two is, it would be cool if you can share that information.
