Body Color Grills... Post Up
Im contemplating painting my grill body color (ok I'm pretty much doing it) and havent seen a whole lot of thirdgen body color grills aside from white, red and well.. black of course. So if you got a body color grill post a pic! If its green and its a bowtie grill well thats even better!

No pics, but personal opinion, the Camaro "mouth" or grill area seems to look best with the black color IMHO. I am one of those people that loves for things to look "Factory" but with a little more pizzaz(sp?). I like the black because it looks factory but I'd probably put mesh behind it or something.
Body colored just makes the front end look TOO big or blocky.

If my car was all red, I would have chosen black for the grille. But with the ghost flames on there, I chose to go body color. Here are some pictures-

Tunedport335, I think I figured it out. I like the way it looks, but from some angles, I don't only because... well, let me try to explain this.
If you remove the grill completely you have just the bumper behind it thats usually body colored. From some angles, thats how it lokos to me. I guess in person it might be different, but who knows.

Very nice TunedPort, I've always liked your car, thanks for the different angled pics
...I happen to like body color grills, which is why I made this post.. not looking for personal opinions

well, you have seen my new red camaro grill.
How about this, a pic of my old 92 Z with teal green grill. I also have a pic of it painted canary yellow with a blue bowtie but I will have to find it. Hope this helps fr now.
PS I am with you all the way, matching grill color looks great to me, but so does black, however, I favor color matching better, not to many on this site do.
