i suppose if you were at absolute full lock, on a steep incline, like turning into a steep driveway, it could slightly rub.... or at full lock on a lowered car.. but really thats no big deal, and i wouldnt let that lil full lock chance effect the size of your tires.

The decision to offer the new ZR-1 wheel in a 17 x 8" size grew out of our desire to make the wheel a direct bolt-on for as many applications as possible. Based on customer feedback, however, it would appear that there may be a viable market for larger sizes as well. As a result, we plan to look into the feasibility of offering the wheel in a 9" and/or 9.5" width. (Please keep in mind, however, that it will likely be some time before we reach a decision on this matter, and we therefore encourage you to reconsider purchasing our current, 17 x 8" wheel.)

In thinking about this matter, I'm not sure what to do. My whole plan all along has been to use a 4th gen rear with some type of 4th gen rim...
Although, if I got a 4th gen rear, to 4th gen SS rims for the rear and 2 of those new SLP ones, maybe I'll just go that route.
Any drawbacks to that plan?

I was thinking of the same thing with the 4th gen wheels in the rear. See, I sold my chrome SS wheels and wanted something no one else had but now priorites are making me ditch the $2000 wheels I want so I have to find something else in the budget catogory. I wonder what SLP wants for 2 of those wheels and 2 4th gen wheels?

The dish is totally different, more dish is supposed to be on the rear.
Also, the spokes are flatter on the SLP wheel, vs the rounder one on the GM style.
4th gen SS wheel
3rd gen SS wheel

This is a genuine GM Grand Sport wheel, but since it is 11", the dish may be different,
