Black or gold GTA wheels?

Right now I have gold T/A rims w/gold bird center caps but they are the wrong color gold And the lip around the rims are painted silver Which looks decent but I do not like it. So since I recently learned how to polish I am going to redo my wheels. And was wonderingwhat it would look like with black GTA rims with the polished lip. with the gold center caps. Here is a pic of the car and it does have gold decals.

Car: NONE! and it SUCKS!
your car doesn't look half bad with the gold GTAs. the Gold rims traditionally go well with Red bodies... Black would work aswell.

Whichever color you prefer, go with it. It'll look sweet (and already does) either way.

I personally like a silver rim with a red car, redid mine in a silver finish. But Here is a link with several car pictures in it. There is one that I saw that is a maroon GTA with the gold rims if you wanna check it out. Mine is on there with the silver rims.TGO Rides

Since you already have gold decals, you might as well stick with the gold GTA rims to stay consitent with the color scheme. Gold looks good with that particular color.

Yeah go gold, looks a bit lifeless with the black. I am facing the same dilemna at the moment on my white IROC. I think black in my case but gold in yours!

Cheers

Did you ever think of painting them body color with the polished lip? I think it would look good on your car. I'm just not a fan of gold wheels.

I powder coated my rims silver and polished the lip. I felt that the silver brought out the paint color better.

Gold definitely looks better with the red car, but any other color would need black.

Here's a picture of one of the wheels on a GTA I went to view a year or two back. He had had them stripped and polished. They looked very good in person.

I like the lighter grey than the black, u can use to ps it in if you want. I would say between gold or black go black.

Well, I like the gold rims more. Mainly because thats the color on a stock GTA rim. However, those gold center caps disturb me for some reason. Dunno why, no contrast maybe.

I say black center caps, and gold GTA.

I agree, maroon and gold look very good together. Black GTA's go best with a black car, gold for colored cars, in my opinion of course....:lala:

If you had any other color BUT maroon, I'd say graphite, but on your car the gold looks best.

I, however, am a little biased towards graphite

edit: yes, it is a photoshop.. I lowered it a little to see if I like it and accidentally saved over the original pic
