People are. Try a search for 17x11. The wheel width to fit a 315 tire will depend on what diameter the wheel is. A smaller wheel like a 15 or a 16 will allow you to run more sidewall, meaning the sidewall can stretch more and you can get away with a smaller width wheel. But if the wheel is big like a 17 or 18 then the sidewall needs to be smaller meaning you'll need a more direct fit. Here's an example. If you download the tech sheet on BF Goodrich Comp T/A Dragradials found here and view it, check the differences between the 315/60/15 and the 315/35/17. The 315 tire for the 15" wheel (with a 60 sidewall) will work on a rim between 8.5 to 11 inches. The 315 tire for the 17" wheel (with a 35 sidewall) will work on a rim between 11 and 12 inches. The 15" wheel looks like a better choice because it gives you more room to find the wheel you want with the right backspacing. They could be 15x8.5 through 15x11. Backspacing would depend on what width you choose. If you wanted something right in the middle you could get a 15x9.5 wheel and that would require a rear backspacing of 5.5 inches. Its a different story for the 315 tire for 17" wheels. The smallest wheel you could fit would be 17x11 (ZR1 wheels come to mind), but I'm not quite sure on the backspacing there. I recommend you do a search. I think its 5.85 inches but you should double check before spending money. Either way, the 315 tire is pretty big, and if the car is lowered I recommend you roll the lip. If you are just concerned with functionality then I say go with the smaller diamter wheel so you have more choices as far as width and tires. Good luck!

Yeah his car was sweet. I remember it was a 383 with a 6 speed. I think he sold it on Ebay for $9000. But the price for board members was like $6500 or something. Nice wheels
