tire size question...
i can't seem to find a conversion chart anywhere so i figured i would ask ya'll. i would like to put a tire out back comparable in size to a 28x10.5 M/T slick. now my dad has a set of 275/60r15 drag radials on his 85. i like this tire alot but would like it to be a tad wider. does anyone know how tall/wide a 295/50 is? my math comes out at a 28" tall by 10" wide. i know my math is wrong though, my figures are all rounded and guestimated. any help would be greatly appreciated. oh, and i am putting these on a set of 15x8 centerline telstars. (the fronts will be 15x4 of course)

295 / 25.4 = 11.6 inches wide
(295 * .5 /25.4 * 2) + 15 = 26.6 inches high
275 / 25.4 = 10.8 inches wide
(275 * .6/25.4 * 2) + 15 = 28 inches high
Keep in mind that the width is section width, not actual tread width.
