How gold should my gold be?

Hi all.

Thinking of respraying the wheels. Still not sure if I should do black or gold... Anyway if I did the gold, should it be pale or should it be a dark rich gold? What was the original?

I'd say go black and leave the gold for my medallions...

Just my opinion...

Go black or dark grey without a doubt. It'll make the rims look so many times better.

I went from gold to gunmetal this weekend:

More information and LOTS more pictures including process and materials:

Hope that helps. I didn't dislike the gold, but I definately like the gunmetal a LOT better!

depending on your interior color, how about blue or red and polish the silver on your wheels really well?

kidcamaro - thats the first time I've liked gold rims on a camaro - looks sharp!

ZZ4 - I'd go gunmetal if I were you. Just my opinion!
