Pics of my GTA with Weld Draglites
Here they are. I've had them on for a month or more now, thought I'd post some pics. BTW, those tires were too tall (275/60/15) so I've put some 275/50/15 Nitto drag radials on since the pic. I've also added some 4.10's behind my 6-speed and I put on my self-converted LT1 intake last week! I can't wait to get to the track.
*I know someone will say I ruined the originality of my GTA, but I'm not selling it and I like it. BTW- I'm looking for the 17" version of the factory GTA wheels. Didn't they put them on some C4 corvettes?? Later

what size rear wheels and BS are those? How did the 275/60's fit? any clearance problems? I'm running the 275/50's on my prostars right now, but i'm considering going to the taller tire, and i wanna see if i'm gonna have problems making it fit

I don't think you ruin the orginality! The wheels look pretty damn good!
I wish my paint was that dark on my 91 gta (white)..
Looks good, keep it going and don't rip it too hard on the track!!

I am going to be the odd one out. I dont like those wheels. To me they look like a set of swap meet wheels that some guys put on their cut spring'd ranger. I know they are quality wheels, just not my taste.
Do you have any track times before the 4.10s and LT1 intake?

WOW! Thanks for all the nice replies guys! I think it turned out pretty good. Now if I could just get my RA I hood for it and some fresh paint!
*As for the 275/60s fitting... they fit but hit on EVERY hard bump. I'm sure some air shocks or new springs would've cured that but I wanted 275/50 nittoa anyways!
Shawn- hope to see ya soon!
Thats cool man, you're intitled to your opinion! I like it though and thats what matters right? Anyways, before the intake and 4.10's it only got 2 1/4 mile passes but quite a few 1/8th mile passes. My best was a 8.75@81mph with a crappy 2.10 60' time on nittos even That should equate to about a 13.5@101mph or so. It normally ran high 8.8's to low 8.9's with bad 60's. It was good for consistent high 13s with a bad clutch I'm thinking now it should go LOW 13s with maybe a 12.99 in there somewhere. It all depends on the launch with the 6spd and 4.10s. Later man
BTW- all those ETs were with gasket matched iron L98 heads, a LT4 hotcam, stock bottom end, and completely stock TPI setup except for a ported/siamesed stock intake base. I also pulled 275RWHP and 330RWTQ with the old intake setup. I'm hoping for closer to 300 now.

BTW, my best run to date is 13.62 @ 101 with a 1.92 60' That was with the LT1 intake and 4.10s with NO tuning. It was way too lean and I ended up trashing the bottom end shortly after those runs. Now it is fully balanced with shorty headers and TPI again. It feels pretty good... I need to run it b4 the tracks close! It doesn't really matter anyways, I've got big plans for the car
I think it looks alot better, what do you guys think? Now I need to save for new paint, a RA I hood, and some 4th gen 17" WS6 wheels

I like em.......
Even though I run my factory GTA wheels on both my cars, I also have a set of Weld Draglites too. I occasionally get the hot rod urge, i stick em on & run em for a little while. But I always go back to the factory ones. Looks killer on that car though!!!!

I have seen the car in person down in Bowling Green,KY and it is very nice.
Doesn't the car have a ton of miles on it too? If so, it is really clean!!
To those who mentioned "originality" of the car, they are wheels and can be change back at anytime. Sheeesh.
BTW, Jeremy- a set of RONALS would look sooooo good.....

I personally think the original rims would look a lot better on there. I'm not a big fan of those rims on that particular car but glad you like them. I'm also an open-spoke kinda guy, but those rims can look pretty nice on the Camaros and the 85-90 Trans-Ams, and on fourth-gens... I just really don't care for them on the 91-92 style.
Still a sweet car though.

As for Ronals, I'm really thinking about a set of those or else some 17" Gold GTA style wheels or maybe 4th gen 17" WS6 rims. The only bad thing about Ronals is that I have a 4th gen rear and they'd stick out Oh well, I can always get a 3rd gen rear when I go 12bolt/9"

does any one know the back spacing on a stock rear end on a 1991 camaro. That will acomidate 15"-9-10" WHeels and a 195 or 175 wide tire?
