need a 16 Inch IROC wheel

Hi Guys,
I have Posted a condsiderable amount, on some of the other threads here. My daughter had a little accident and trashed a rim on her 92 RS. LOL the very day she got her licsense. Anyway if anyone has a 16 inch Iroc rear wheel or knows where I can get one, would you please e-mail me or post. It will be greatly appreciated. Oh yeh, what is the difference in the front and rear wheel. She trashed the rear one on the drivers side.
Thanks Randy

Well the difference in front and rear wheels is the backspacing. You can go a couple different routes in finding a new or used wheel. You can post an ad in the classifieds on this site or check one of our sponsers at the top of the page. Goodluck in finding a new one just remember there are two different styles of IROC wheels there are the old ones like I have on my car then there are the newer style ones that I beleive were 88+ wheels.

First of all, if it's a 92 RS, and it had factory 16 inch wheels, then it had "z28/camaro...zq8/S10" wheels. Not Iroc wheels.

Although...adding a set of 4 Iroc wheels would be cool. Regardless of which wheel you're looking for, try Hawk's and Thirdgenresource...both of which have links at the top of the page.

and of course...Ebay...ebay...ebay!!

This is one of my alltime fave thirdgens. It's got a GM 350 Ramjet. SWEEEET:hail:

As far as wheels go.....these are the 16" inch z28/zq8 wheels. This is what I'm guessing you have, correct?

These are 88-90 Iroc rims. Very close, but you can see the lugs, and they also have that deep dish/concave shape.

...They all have the same backspacing...but they are different front to rear, so if she scraped up the rear wheel...you'll need a rear wheel.

Hey guys I tried to put a pic up of the wheels but it keeps saying my file is to large. They are 16 inch Iroc wheels. They were put on it at aftermarket. If I can figure out how to post a pic, I will. If not, I will have to e-mail a pic to anyone who knows where I could get a rim at. I did'nt know that yhere was two 16 inch IROC wheels. I thought they were all the same. Learn something new everyday.
Thanks, Randy

To attach a pic. it has to be smaller than 102500 pixels. So 1600x1200 pics on a digi cam have to sized down via whatever software you have available on your computer.

Yes, there are two different types of IROC rims, 85-87 and 88-90, where the 88-90 style could be either 15in. or 16in. So, on a 92 RS, someone had to change them over to IROC style rims, which is why I guess you say they are aftermarket right? Anyways, EBAY is always a good place to check first online, then Hawks or ThirdgenResource. Other than that, pick up the phone book and start calling different wheel shops.

And front and rear wheels have different backspacing, so you need to replace a rear wheel with a rear and so on.

Heres a 85-87 IROC wheel.

That's definetly an 88-90 style Iroc rim.

They should be easy to find.

This link is for a whole set, but you can usually find a set for WELL under $500. Usually closer to 200 or 300. Probably easier than looking for just 1.
