Super Price All Third Gen Hoods
Hello, no need for a group purchase, all of next week i will accept orders for all the ram air style hoods I manufacture for the third generation Camaro and Firebird / T/A. The price for the hoods will be the same for all ram air styles $435.00 plus shipping. This is for personal customers only, limited to one purchase per customer, no dealer discount. This might cause me to be back ordered for a short amont of time, but if they will wait time is money they say. I am also building more molds for these style hoods as it is hard to keep them in stock anyway. I am gald to be able to help you all out with this price, as you have helped keep me in business since 1979. I have been building Camaro / Firebird hoods since 1983, hope this will help you out. Orders will have to be phone in at 1-800-579-0777 Price Code SUMMERSALE Sincerely, Rex Orr

Your ASCD Rex? Its settled then... I will be placing my order this week for a Firebird RAII hood. I have seen your hoods in person and the quality and fit is awsome! Ive acually been holding off for a while now, because I didnt like the quality and horrible fit of GTAutos hood, hoping you guys would make them. The time has come!

This ASCD SS hood for the Camaro Z28, is it functional, is the
scoop open and dose it have a grill in place like the factory 4th gen SS hood.
Also dose any body sell the air box kit to make it functional, that seals to the hood.
I'm very interested in a functional ss hood for my Z28 so I can feed the blower directly from the airbox like Willie did.

Hey Rex, we can get the Ram Air hoods specified to be cut open right? Does the Ram Air I hood come with grill inserts for the scoops? Thanks, I think I'm gonna order my RA I on Friday... Just waiting to see if I get this job first.

Hey, I;ve very interested in oredering my hood now, through u guys, since you are a member and have that special. But when we are ordering, how do we get the discount? And do you have a working airbox for a 305 TBI? And just to clarify, the discount works with the 82-92 WS6 hood, correct? Thanx!

Hello 91 the sale code for the hood price is SummerSale we are working with Hawks their air box will work with our hoods.see ya rex

I am not sure that the airbox will work with the TBI though. You would have to make custom tubes going to a custom air cleaner. Your best bet would be to use an open element. If you can come up with a way to use the airbox with a TBI, please let me know and post a pic. I would love to have that with my TBI also. Thanks.

Awesome, that will help out a lot! Thanks. I have one quick question. Some people mentioned about the spring, on how it doesn't line up with everything. Did you guys take care of that? I think people had mentioned that it was on the wrong side or something. Can you elaborate?

Order in-
Order the RAll on Monday afternoon and recieve on Thursday morning, fast service and no freight damage. Thank You again ASCD it was a pleasure. The hood fits the car and now for minor work and cure time, then paint. Having done a fair share of glass work this is a nice piece. Les

Does anyone have a pic of an ASCD ram air II hood installed? I have seen pics of the usbody.com and the gt auto accessories ones installed, but they never seem to line up right with the fenders and bumper. If the ASCD one lines up good (stock looking, no big gaps) then I may buy one soon.

Got my hood from Rex after trying to get the group purchase going. I got lucky and was the first to buy it and got the last one in stock . Had the hood in 2 days. Great doing business with you.

Hey Rex, are you guys going to be working on getting any 4th gen wings in that will fit on the 82-92 firebirds? I'd love to get one from you guys to compliment the Ram Air II hood. I'm very pleased with the quality of the hood and I know that ASCD would make a great wing to go on the firebird. I've seen a couple at a few other sites but they want over $400 for them and I'm not sure if their quality would be as good as ASCD's. Any plans on making them in the future? Thanks.

I second the motion for ACSD to make some killer wings/spoilers for 3rd gens. I have the stock Z-28 wing and I like it, but I have always wanted something new and different... Maybe worth some thought...

too all the people that bought ram air II hoods from ASCD.
Did your hoods fit as BAD as mine. the lines of the hood are no where near the lines of the car. like not even close.

the hood is resting on the rad suport in the pics. with the latch and hook on it sits even higher
