Will a TA backlight assy' fit on a -87 Formula?
I guess this would be an easy question for you guys who see alot of these cars. I intend to install them TA taillights 87-92 or something like that, but that's IF they will fit.
Will I need some rewireing?
Will the centerpiece between the lights fit, or will I need to get that also?
thanks,
Kjetil
This is the ones I want;

They'll fit. You might want to get the T/A tail light wire harness to make the swap a snap.

Ok. But from the pictures i posted (found them on this site) the senterpiece seems to be alot more glossy, than it is on my formula. Is it like that on every trans am? If it is, I guess I would need the centerpiece to match the lights... Or what du you think?

I'd get the T/A center peice just so it would match the T/A lights. But when polished, both will be just as glossy. If you like how your current center section looks, try some plastic polish on it to shine it up.

I thought that those taillights will go right in with no problem, I thought the 91-92 taillights were the ones that needed a new wiring harness.

Formula to T/A
Not a direct bolt on
You have to rewire....your actual tail have separate sidemarker
T/As not.
i couldn't find a T/A tail for my 82 so i did my own
