Meguiar's #7 Review
I tried the Meguiar's #7 Mirror Glaze Polish today.
Overall- very excellent product
Strong points- went on easy, came off fairly easy, brought the color back to certain spots that are faded
Weak points- says to apply to cool surface, which I didn't that could be an inconvenience
Works best if you do a small section and then buff out right away, allowing it to dry makes it less effective.
I'd definately suggest giving it a try if you're looking for a non spray polish.
I still prefer F113 over this product, as far as it's durability I'm not sure yet.

I was a die hard user of the #7, but I found that it doesn't last. I don't wash my IROC but maybe once a year, and the smooth feel was gone after it was washed. I have become a Formula 113 user and I prefer that.
On a side note.. While I was trying to sell my 442, I noticed some paint checking and a slight haze in the hood. I polished it twice with the #7 and it felt smooth, but still had the image problems. I then used 2 coats of Formula 113 on the car and the shine came back. The car looked like a fresh paint job was just done. This was on a car that still had original paint and was not a clear coated finish.

I shot paint for about 6 years and have always used #7, especially right after a paint job. #7 doesn't seal the paint and will allow to "breath" when curing. What alot of people don't realize with alot of glaz polishes is that they contain oils that bring out the luster of your paint. After applying the hand glaze, you must apply a wax to protect it. That's why the luster seems to fade after a while. #7 is not a cleaner/polish/wax. Most combination cleaner/polish/waxes do not bring out the luster of paint like a good multi-stage system. Like most waxes and polishes, when applied on hot surfaces, polishes and waxes have a tendency to "stain". Best way to apply waxes and polishes is with a slighty damp cloth. After it is applied, buff off with a dry cloth. Hope this helps.

I've got a bottle of #7....
I haven't used it enough to really give my opinion, but I can say I think it's difficult to use. It want's to dry too quickly, so it's best to do small areas at a time. I apply it by hand, and it doesn't have a high luster once completely worked. But, I imagine it's because this #7 says to be followed up by #26 Mirror Glaze Yellow Wax. I haven't got to use this #26 wax yet, because my car was just painted a couple weeks ago.
But at any rate, so far #7 seems promising.

On another note...
If you want that "just waxed" look next time you wash your car, and had just waxed it the previous weekend; use Meguiar's #34 Final Inspection.
It comes in a spray bottle, and when you apply it after the car is dry, it brings back that "just waxed" shine. I like it- even though it cost $6 a 16oz. bottle....
