Here's the bad part...the engine bay needs a lot of cosmetic work. As you can see, previous owner tried painting it black, but turned out half black and half yellow. But, that's another post... Lemme know what you guys think, but please keep in mind I'm trying to keep this thing as stock as possible. I don't even want to get rid of the factory tape deck. Oh BTW, here's THE PLAN:

-repaint drivers side door and ground effect (dulling / small chips)
-repaint front bumper and ground effect (a couple paint chips / damn rocks!)
-new stripes and decals
-new foglights
-new pass side front fender side molding (it's missing!)
-get that dern engine bay back to original color!

I'm guessing no. I see red paint under the black on the radiator support, which tells me the car was smacked and had a used radiator support installed. It's probably also why the owner painted part of the engine bay black... to hide the red.

nope it IS original paint (so says RPO codes). except for the front...which I believe too was replaced with a red camaro. The paint underneath the black in the engine bay is yellow, not red.

Whether or not the paint is original doesn't have anything to do with whether or not the color is original.

ok, i meant it is original color. a lot of people don't realize that yellow was a factory color on IROCs and ask if it is original.
