I have 265's on the front, and 295's on the rear.. All on 15 X 7 Z28 rims. Was like that when I bought the car.

That is a real good size tire for a 15*7. I run a 275/60r15 on a 15*7.

dam.. 275 on a 7in rim is crazy. Im thinking of 245's on the rear with 225s on the front. but then i should have irocs by then and that wont be a problem

There would be no problem if your rims are 8" or wider. 7" is too small. 275 tires are normally put on 8.5-9.5" rims.

275 is too big. that's an 11 inch tire on a 7 inch rim. you don't see a problem with that?

A 275/60R15 is not an 11" tire. A 275/50 is an 11"

A 275/60R15 is not an 11" tire. A 275/50 is an 11
275 is the tread width in millimeters. 275mm divided by 25.4 mm per inch, gives you 10.8 inches wide. a 275/60 is the same width as a 275/50.
