Anyone use this on any of their lights? For those that don't know what I'm talking about, it's this spray on coating that basically tints tail and marker lights black, while allowing the light to shine through. I really don't know anybody that's done this, except I think Prime from nethirdgen.org who tinted his RS's taillights (pic below). I was considering getting an extra pair of taillights for my '92 Bird and seeing how it looked. I think if the job was done perfectly, this would look absolutely kick-***, and it would flow with the car and look legal because it would just look like 91-92 T/A or GTA taillights that are black anyways. I was curious if someone here has already tried it. My only concern was the possibility of the shade of black of the taillights looking a different shade of black than the center piece with the bird on it. I also was wondering if it's easy to apply and durable. Is it easy/feasable to upgrade to brighter rear bulbs so the light shines through better and there's no issues with the law? TIA

mark a shields (our #1 poster) used it on his front turn signals IIRC. i think it looks good where mark put it, and i think it looks pretty good on the tails too. much better then some huge piece of plastic IMO

You can do a search, and should find my pics.
The side ones didn't turn out the best, some yellow still shows.
Goes on just like spray paint, but over time it starts to fade a little, I need to touch up.

I dont have any pics, but I did my trans am grid style lights in nightshades. It looks good, but it does fade after awhile. When the lights are on at night, you cant tell its on there. In the day, its a bit harder to see, but not so much that you'll get hassled by anyone imo.
