I like it because it's low slung, fits the body lines, has that RA 2 flavor going on near the windshield, and keeps my vents. Can't beat it with a stick.

I wanted that hood, but I couldn't find it on US body's website. Plus I have heard a lot of bad things about the hoods not fitting properly on birds. From the pics on the site the hood looks like it fits really well.
As for your modification;
I really like the stock TA hood and I really like that Corvette Indy style hood, so I definately like the modified hood.
You maintain the stock look, but all the while making it look a bit more aggressive with a bit of extra clearance.
When I saw the thread, I was expecting something more wild.

looks sweet! i saw a pic of somebody's hood a little while back who did the same thing, but didnt save it. mb somebody else can post that? my only suggestion would be to get the same placement on the cowl hood as the T/A one for the vents. it seems to me to be a little too far front in your pic.

Not sure really...... I like it because it is differant but at the same time it just doesn't seem to flow right to me. I wonder how that would look with the formula hood with the cowl on one side? Good luck,

How about this...
Lt1guy and I saw it on the car with the mecham wing in Dayton. He did not use the side vents though...
HE and I both like the idea

redraif... that hoood is soooo sweet... anyone know if someone's making that kind of hood? I prefer it to the Ram Air 2 I believe... looks much sharper... I need a new hood and was about to settle for an original... can't find a hood in Quebec or Ontario... shiping being too expensive elsewhere

On the black hood... I'm not sure. The guy installed the vents on the cowl hood himself if I remember correctly...

strange how people leave negative poll results, but no replies. That doesn't help me at all.
This hood from USBODY sells for 430 + shipping. You'd have to add the vents by yourself, of course.
