tire preferences and dreams

what is your favorite tire you have ever owned?

what is the worst?

what is the one tire you wish you had?

so far all i've ever had on my car where some kelly chargers when i first bought the car and then i upgraded to some michelin pilots on the 16" rim...

i loved the pilots.

what about you?

my fav tire so far is my daytonas...cuz they're treadlife is better.

my worst tires so far has to be the very first cuz they were bald as fu**.

and my favorite tire that id like to own would be Michelin Pilot Sport..nice tread design, handles quite good from the reviews, but the price sucks.

my favorite tire ive owned is my michelins, good tread wear and great handling wet and dry

the worst tire ive owned if my firestones they are the crappiest tires in the world next to general grabber which my friend had on his truck that literally fell appart, and they were brand new

If I ever got the tires I wanted they would either be michelin pilots or a set of nittos, there awsome tires. but pricey

nittos aren't bad they are roughly 200 a tire.

i'm also looking at toyo proxies t1-s they are 180 a tire.

the bfg's are nice as well but are 240 a tire.

the pilots are what i want but are 350 a tire.

this is where the larger rim really hits the wallet.

Worst tire, no contest. Orginal equipment Goodyear Gatorbacks.
The best, anything then the above. Recommendation, check out the reviews and prices on www.tirerack.com

anything then the above....? as in the gatorbacks or my list?

my list basically is the best that i've seen....if anyone knows of something missing off of the list please let me know.

having a larger rim limits the tires extremely.

Best tire for me was my Bridgestone Potenza's. The worst would have to be some kinda hoosier crap on my truck. I also like kumho Escta supra 712 ( i believe this is the name), nice tire, cheap, but tread goes pretty quick! I would love to have BFG Drag radial 325/50R16! Only 167 ea for tires that are strictly dry weather only I have to say, Goodyear Eagle D3 29x12-15 have to be the best slicks ever used! Very sticky! These are the tires that were on my car when I pulled the tires 2 inches off the ground! Its on video, but dont know how to convert tape to digital! It sux, but oh well.

I have 245/50-16 Eagle GS-C's right now, I think they're a great tire so far. My dream would be some Michelin Pilot Sports(not the All-Season version), or else the Eagle F1 GS-D3 that's just recently been on the tire rack...

I think those would grip like I would if I got ahold of Aria Giovanni

Cooper

Cooper Radial GT 255/60R15 on the rear 235/60R15 up front Great tire all around. my next choice is BFG. The worst that I have owned were Goodyear.

I did mean the Gatorbacks, but then I checked your list.
A lot of overpriced rubber on it, compare the tires & prices at the tirerack. I think you can make better choices then just those brands.

I love the Nittos that I have now - they are not good in the snow like my Kumhos on the 15s were.

Z28DJP1987, what makes you say that....those are the most referred by tirerack as well as just about any other tire site.

they are all equal in size and weight and somewhat comprable in tread wear. just prices vary....anywhere from 175 up to 375.
