well unless your getting everything done by the weekend it isn't much help.
what adapters did you use to fit? what offset are your rims?
what tire size did you have before.........have you driven with the new wheels, is there any noticeable change in ride?
is that 245/40 all around? what is the actual size of the wheel 18x?
enough questions huh..........sorry.

this wont be too much help but i have some spacers on the car which makes the bolt pattern 5x4.75 OR 5x5..
the rims are 18x9 and there isnt much of a ride difference...
i had 225/60/16 yokos v rated all round before, and yes that will be 245/40/18 all round..
anymore questions just ask...

sorry, i know it's alot of questions i just want to get as much info as possible before i make my selection.
18" is the same price as 17"; they are trying to tell me they won't fit and the ride will be harsh.......if so then why are so many other people out there riding on 18's?
i would just go with the 17/18 combo but that just seems funny to me on the thirdgen body style. although i've never really seen a full side picture that was down to rim level to show the different size. everyone who post pics always goes on an angle so it looks somewhat normal. yet look at a vette.........the rear of the vette is larger than the front so it looks like it should fit; the thirdgen isn't built the same way so the sizes seem to show more.
anyhow.....thanks for the advice and taking the time to post everyone.

iroc2nv, LowCamaro has airbag suspension. He set it all up himself too. Pretty impressive. Its the best of both worlds ... awesome stance and awesome driveability. I would go that route too if I didnt plan to race.
3.1EyeCandy, those BBS wheels are off a BMW M5.

so there is less than a handful that have 18's and even less that have them all around huh?
i figured with all the thousands of members we'd have more of a selection by now.
nice looking stuff here though.

Iroc2nv, Airlift makes air springs, If i remember correctly, in the Canadian Tire magazine, They were pretty cheap (the springs), but they only have minmal ride hight adjustability, I think they had a totally adjustable system, with onboard compressors and stuff that was like a grand CDN. Then again, i could be totally off.
Thunder racing has their drag springs i think
