I just got it back tonight and took some pictures of it in the garage. I really like the color and how it turned out! What do you guys think? I will take some better pictures tomorrow when there is sunlight and after I clean the dirty wheels. Here is the mini web site for it:
Navy Blue Metallic
The guy who was painting my car said to come back next weekend so he can buff it and finish it off, and it should be very smooth, and look a little darker after that.
For right now, I will just enjoy the firebird without the huge bird logo on the hood, but in a few months, since I am good with airbrushing (although I have never airbrushed on a car before) I will probably try to do the bird on the hood myself. It should be easy since I just need to make like a huge "stencil" and spray. I think silver would be a great accent color for this car, so that is probably what color I'll paint the bird logo, opinions on that? Or do you like it better with no bird on the hood? Thanks for sharing any opinions.

please no bird..............
looks rather nice although pictures don't say anything much when custom paint is concerned.
is that high metallic or a silver pearl overtop? either way looks nice; take care of her.

Thanks guys for responding. My painter told me he put a black coat on first and then the navy blue metallic on top. I don't really know any other specific details about how he did it.
I just realized it's going to be a lot easier to wax the car without that bird decal I had on the hood!
