euro works kits for 3rd gen
I saw this online a long time ago and then again in chevy high performance mag, If I had the money I would built a firebird with the kit and have a regular trans am and a 82 trans am with the KITT replica stuff , Three cars. but Im sticking with a 92 trans am and no kit, but I would love to hav the kit they use for the doors. Im emailing them to ask if they would just sell the kit for the doors so that my car would look stock until you opend the door. well look at the site and tell me what you think . here is the three links that are of two diffrent kits and one with a photo gallery

A lot of people will probably hate it, but I think it's kick @ss. And it's still a third gen at heart. The interior looks trashy though. I guess you don't have to get that either though if you don't want to.

I've decided that I am going to start looking for a cheap 82-92 body w/ some rust on the panels that I will be replacing and start on that. It will probably be next summer before I order the kit but I can get the car all ready(gutted and stuff) to do a color change and everything. I can't wait :-)

I would want the body kit, but a complete fourthgen TA interior (including dash) and a roll cage.
Also, a TTA motor or a Twin Turbo SBC would be in order
And the car would be painted black.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't those scoops on the roof actually harm the performance just a tad. Doesn't seem very aerodynamic since the air just gets trapped in there.

I'm crunching numbers as we speak. It's adding up really fast though. $8000 plus paint job. 4th gen interior, racing style seats, etc etc etc.
The TTA motor would be sweet.
If I only had about a $30,000 to spend. But then I'd probly buy one of the last T/As every built instead....

on a hardtop you could make them functional, but what function you'd have them perform would be the question. If i had the money, i'd build one in a second on one of those cheap whole/or parts for 100 bucks in the classified papers, i think i'd do away with the backseat though, and do some sort of custom interior, cause i think their kinterior kit sucks

yea I don't like the kit much but I think I might just want to add the rear to my car and maybe the doors if I can't find a good kit to make them go straight up. BUT wow I did not think so many people would reply so fast.

alright i for one am not a fan of this kit, it looks pretty cool and all but i'm just not one that would take an f-body and turn it into that, maybe a different chassis but not an f-body. and as for the comment on the nonfunction hood, the big block hood or the SS hood aren't functional either if i remember correctly

I still think the Evoluzion II looks the best. I know, there's something a little shady about defacing an fbody...
But at the same time it looks pretty cool, futuristic, and it would have the same power that I love.

ehh Its not for me anymore, I used to kinda like it but I NEVER LIKED HOW IT MADE THE FONT LOOK!!!!. I mean a third gen is nothing with out its trade mark front end. this is odd and off topic but has anyone ever noticed how the front of the camaros looke kinda like a skull? This became aparent to me when one of my mothers bf's had a 91 RS camaro white with t tops and I used to sit and stare at the front end.

I know the rear is not done but I liked it kinda like this, I saw a guy that made it look like this and did not have the scoops on the t tops and it did not have the same hood or wheels
he was trying to go for that ferrari look, I wish I could find the pics , he also had the rear rounded more.

Thats one area where a Fiero would be a better chassis for something like this...those ducts could be functional, feeding cold air through intercoolers mounted in the rear quarters, ala turbo Porsche. I saw the car in person at the TA Nats, and while it is nice I'd probably change so much that it wouldn't be an Evo anymore...so why spend the $8k. The Euroworks guys said they don't reccomend the doors, due to what appears to me to be a very poor design, and they don't sell parts of the kit except to replace damaged stuff. I agree the hood should be functional, and more interesting than that little dinky scoop anyway.

Make it out of carbon fiber, then were talking. And I agree the roof scoops are pointless and would afect the aero dynamics of it. Hum, 5.7l supercharged?? Sounds like fun to me

i like that kit. i preffer the evo1 kit better myslef. but those pics of the evo with no spoiler look really nice. im planning on makin one of those kit cars in the next few years. my plan was startin with a ttop car, strip it all the way down. paint the chais black(color of car) buy a totaled 4th gen lt1 (there are wrecked auctions aroun my area) swap evreything i can from the 4th to the 3rd. i then plan to turbo the lt1 and frabicate fiberglass ttops to have painted and make it look like a hard top. hows that sound? im lookin for a chasis but itll still be a few years before this is ever done. oh well.....

Personally, I wouldn't want the exhaust pipes so close together. Looks kinda weird.
Anyone wanna guess at how much it would cost to have one of these things painted?

I can't imagine the frustration of opening the doors once the struts die.
Check out the front passenger's legroom with that custom dash. You can't barely even get in the car between the dash & the seat.
It's decent looking for a kit car, but in the end- it's still a kit car. I'd rather have a Camaro (or Firebird).

Not a bad body kit. I think I would see if I could do something like that to a feiro. I would still like to get the head lights from that kit. Something would be better than what is in the birds now.

I don't think that the kit is pricey for what you get. We are talking about full body surgery on the entire body including the roof. I would not do it to a slow thirdgen or a thirdgen that already has a nice body. I would be interested in the interior transformation though. On those Ferrari kits, I would be embarrased to own one because I know it is fake. The Evoluzione kit is an origianal design that does not try to look like another car.

It would be nice if the company had individual parts such as a taillight conversion, headlight conversion, or a front end conversion that was made to fit with the original body panels. If our cars had a wrap around front bumper, we would probably have a large selection of front ends to choose from.

Car: too many ...
I will have mine one day. I'm going to build it for shows. But it will also run @ least 10 second 1/4's and pull over 1 G on the turns. The only question is if I should use my B4C or find some magical non-existant rust free donor in Hawaii? Hard question indeed ....

I've been looking at this kit for a while now, trying to put it into my plans for rebuilding the 'maro. Those roof scoops MUST go, no point in having them. Making the hood scoop functional wouldn't be that big of a deal, i don't think. Maybe an open element carb with a custom ram-air box. And though the standard doors are a bit of a pain to get in and out of to begin with, why make it harder on yourself with the 45deg. opening angle? Hopefully, they make the doors fiberglass, as well, regarding the standard door mount; cause really, this whole kit is one big weight reduction mod.
