If you want to post a picture, its simple. Whenever you click on "Reply to post" or "Post New Topic" just scroll down . Right above the 'sumbit reply' or 'submit new thread' button it says attatch file. Just click on the browse button and upload ot from you computer and it will appear in your post. But be sure to crop the picture and make sure that it's not any bigger than 102,000 bytes.

I am 17 and I have a 1991 RS with a 305 and a 5-speed. Immaculate condition 59,000 miles. But my first car was a 1969 Mustang fastback (my dream car) with a 302 and a C-4 and the mustangs backup car was a 1993 Ford Probe 2.0L stick. Does anyone else have the disease where they get tired of a car after 3 months or so? It is a really expensive disease to have. So the only solution is keep modifying and customizing. Hopefully the third gen will keep me busy for a while longer (i've hade it almost 6 months). I'll try to have pictures of my beast. Its raining right now. American muscle all the way.

I hope all you kids are driving responsibly!?!?!
I'm an F-body guy down to the bone....
I have two now... my 97 Z28 & my 89 Formula
I just need a 70's & 60's f-body and I'll be set.....
Keep'em nice people.... something tells me that our cars will be rare before we know it.... I'm seeing fewer and fewer on the roads.

Finally got some pictures. I took the window lettering off, the rear-antenna will be gone soon, and it will be back to original silver/red/black within a year. Not bad for $2200 and my first car(I had a ThirdGen, but I was 14 and it was a present that I sold for $1500.)

I got my Z from my uncle. He bought it new and now I own it and I am currently letting it rust out. I have no money because I am 20 years old and living on my own. My Z was given to me as a earlier college graduation gift (I still have like 2 years). I guess you can say I am a lucky guy or I am just spoiled by my aunt and uncle.

I am 20 years old right now. I've had my '81 Z28 since I was 17. This picture shows it side by side a very similiar car (mine's on the left) at the Hot Rod Power Tour stop in Lincoln, NE. The car has around 90,000 miles on it. Since I've had it I put a 383 stkr, 3.73 auburn posi, and I'm rebuilding a 700R4 for it as we speak. And it also has a 3" true dual exhaust with flowtech afterburner headers and edelbrock RPM mufflers. I also have race readies so I can uncap the exhaust whenever I want. The car sounds really nice, especially uncapped. I don't have any better pictures of it on my computer at the moment. It looks pretty sweet with my Centerline rims, 275 SS20's, and blackouts. My new project is a daily driver, a '89 v6 RS that I am dropping a 350 into. I got the car for 1250 with a blown motor. The body isn't perfect, but it looks really good. Interior is great too. The car I just sold and was driving daily was a '90 Thunderbird SC. I know, I know, a ford. (HISSSSSSS) However, the car was really good to me. Pretty fast and fun. I beat on that thing like it was nobody's business. Some bitch pulled out in front of me and I smashed her camry pretty bad about a year ago. They totalled the car and I got 3100 out of the deal. I just kept the money and kept driving the car til I wanted to do something else. I decided to build a 3rd gen, so I put the car up for sale and sold it in a day for 700 bucks. Probably could have got more for it because two people were fighting over it, but it was going to be a parts car for both of them and I didn't want them to pay too much for it. So I ended up getting 3800 for it total, 100 more than I paid for it over 2 years ago when I came to college. The thing had like 180,000 miles on it. So, that's it, my life story.

Car: 88 Trans Am GTA

Sorry no pics but I'm 18 and although I didn't buy my car I've helped fix up every car up to this to turn a profit.
When I was 16 I got my first car an 87 f150 pickemup truck very nice truck w/ a 302. After a HS football game that year some ******* keyed it badly and after we painted and turned a profit(for some reason we still had full coverage on it) we decided it would be best if we sold it and got a trashier truck to beat up next mowing season. So after selling the 87 he bought a 94 ranger, 2.3 5 speed.... an absolute dog on the highway. After driving that for over year I decided it was time to move on. So shortly after my 17 birthday we found an 86 trans am lg4 for $1000, needed paint, head gaskets and a whole lot more than we ever thought it would need. And of course as we were fixing it up my dad found a guy with an 88 GTA, a project car that the guy long ago lost interest in. The 86 was nice when we got done painting it and replacing the entire cooling system, but low 17's was just too slow .
But then about a 7 weeks ago....
A friend of a friend approached us about buying the car and we decided we'd let it go for $4000, we had $3000 in the car. The guy still had the 88 GTA so we offered him $1200 for it. We freshened the engines up (the motor was knocking) and did some port work. That was about 4 weeks ago, and about 2 weeks ago we painted it the stock flame metallic red. Rigtht now, were done with the car, I've got $400 in the cam, and springs, and my dad has about $3600 in the car. So no, I didn't pay for my car but I did put in a lot of time (if you've ever painted a car yourself you'd know). It was a very nice father-son project and would do it again for the results we got. I guess it helps that my dads a mechanic. He paid for the car, now I just get to pay for it to go fast. Now if I just get off my *** and get a winter job I'll be able to spend the $500 I've saved up over summer without worrying about getting gas money for the next few monthes.

I have owned mine since age 14, paid in cash from working my *** off. 4 grand at 14 was like 100grand at 21. I started modding before I was even legal to drive it, Cam/intake swap without knowing how to drive a stick I felt cheated but dad was digging the car. I would post a pic but I am ignorent in how to post them online.

Here's some pics of my ride. I'm 18, turn 19 in June. I bought this car when I was 16 for $1,800 bucks. My first vehicle was a 1999 Cavalier Z24 that yes mommy and daddy bought for me. Well some ******* decided to run into me one day and total that car. Well 1st car was bought for me, everything else I had to get, so I saved up for a few months and just searched around for a black 3rd gen with t-tops. Found what I wanted in a little run-down town at some mom and pop car dealer. I've put alot of work and money into her, and proud to say this is MY car. Pretty much all I work for, lol. She has ALOT more to come
(need to update engine pic for the new chrome dress)
I need to update my pics. I changed my exhaust tips to the newer Z28 polished style, chrome engine dress, undercar neons and some other lil stuff. by summer there should be some big changes on her.

sorry ramairz but its hard to believe you payed for all of your car. at 18, i mean that is one of the nicest camaros iv seen, but at 18 how can you aford all that without mommy and daddys help????, well anyways that dont matter nice ride, so you did most of the work on it right??? way to be. . well i just turned 18 and i have a 86 grey 2.8L MFI, few mods like filters, tune up, exhaust, thats it. its not too bad, got it for $1000, cndn, rebuilt rear end (shaterd spyder gear!), brakes are a b@tch to do. did plugs wires distrib, dist cap roter, sterio, 2 6x9s, exhaust, rewired fan with new switch, fixed a battery drain(alternator was burning battery up!), got it painted. nice running car, beats all the ricers and some of the v8 camaros with old engines. i did all the work myself with friends, except the paint. its grey, next thing i do, is two black stripes, blackouts, a chip (mabe), and i dunno mabe put in a big block. Oh yea, dont worry its stansard
