The Gone in 60 Seconds '92 Camaro!

Gone in 60 Seconds is my favorite movie of all time. My dream has always been to own that Mustang from the movie. It's just kick ***!!! But *** knows at 19 I won't have it for another 10 years!

So... my "Gone in 60 Seconds Camaro" photoshop modification! That's the color scheme I always wanted on my camaro. Maybe I'll do it next summer, who knows!

I just saw Gone in 60 Seconds if you're wondering and I'm extremely bored, but I like my results! I must've seen that movie at least 30 times, and still love it! Best movie of all time!

I had my car painted the same color as eleanor. The color is Pepper Grey Metallic (dupont fleet number 44490 if I remember correctly). It was done last december.

The Photoshopped picture that Ward submitted is pretty cool. Gone in 60 Seconds is a good movie, but it is not the best movie in history. Its one of the top car movies in history. If you wanted a Camaro with a similar style as the Mustang in the movie, you would need, a custom front end, custom fender flares, side exit exhaust, 17" wheels, and of course the color scheme. A good concept though. The main reason why I like that mustang was because it had a deep and lowered custom front end.

Dude your car is nicer than that car ever could be, and its a Chevrolet Camaro. Keep it the same, take a good look at your car and leave any thoughts of that thing somewhere else.

Also, your car is like you say, completely stock/original with only 45,000 miles and in great condition, don't do those things to a car like that. Do whatever to a project car if you have to, but not that car.

I was actually working with a guy who was going to do the stuff that Total Control doesn't sell in a kit. I took pics of the prototype fiberglass bits for the car Started doing the website for him but some other people moved into the business and took over that part of it

DON"T DO IT EASY!

easySPEEDcamaro, you have way too much time on your hands!

As a fan of Black Camaros (which I think is the best color) I say KEEP your car like it is. That is the best looking Blue Camaro on this board. And besides that you have ORIGINAL LOW MILEAGE. If you change you may devalue(is there such a word) your car. Just buy a Black Camaro if you want but don't mess with the Blue one.

And BTW I don't like the thirdgen.org sticker on the door windows. Just my opinion. It is too, too big and your car looks so sweet without it.

And BTW again: DO NOT MOD YOUR CAR INTO THAT COMBO MUSTANG CAMARO THING. Mustangs are mustangs and camaros are Camaros and NEVER the two should mix.

Gone in 60 seconds is one hell of a movie!!!!!

Not that you asked but just my .02 cents.

duh who said anything about turning my camaro into a mustang?

and what about a black car? i don't want a black car.

the picture of the car up there is gunmetal/silver with a grey/black hood. it has hood pins on it, and a little line on the bottom of the door that will say either 305/350...

i just said i like the color scheme of the mustang, i didn't say nothing about turning my camaro into a mustang!

I like the shade of grey in the first pic, how ever, I speak for a lot of pople when I say, the 91-92 Z28s were some of the best looking Z28s ever built, leave them alone they look good.

easySPEEDcamaro, unless I(and several others following this thread) am misunderstanding the above quote I thought you wanted to turn your Camaro into the Mustang that was in the attached photo that you ran with the quote. I guess you meant the stripes, not the whole car. I have always liked those stripes, but they do scream Ford so it would be interesting to see them on a GM. Also I could not tell by your photoshop efforts that the car was gun metal grey. It looks black on my computer.

Anyway I still like your car in Blue. Gun Metal Grey is a great color tho and much better than GM's standard silver. Don't be offened by my other post. I was not trying to flame you or anything.

yeh it is sweet, if you find out a good way of doing it thats not that expensive, let us know...

I read somewhere, body filler won't work, it would just crack. And that you would have to have all custom panels made???

Yea it would crack cause the bumper is extremly flexible yet the body filler isnt. What you could use is the flexible body filler. Its made for fixing plastic bumpers. I've used it before to fix a crack on my lip and the stuff is pretty cool. Its sandable like bondo yet it stays extremly flexible. Its kinda expensive though being about $10 or so just for 2 small tubes. But if your willing to spend the cash it would probably work well.

You would still end up with a difference in heigh, wouldn't you? I know that at least on my car the gfx stick out farther than the body panels, and they overlap a bit. Plus when you painted there'd be a bit of a difference in color cause the paint would take different to the gfx than to the body. But it'd be cool if there was some way to do it.

I am really digging that shade of grey. It is the same color as my bicycle and I love it. It might even pay the extra money to have my car painted another color and not settle for the shade it is now.

True Gunmetal Gray:
Wish I had a better picture, but I lost all the pictures of my wife's car and it needs a new motor.

I think it would look sweet as hell EasySPEED.

Throw some Eibach springs on, put the paint scheme on there, but the only thing I would change, is to leave the headlight sockets black (a little touch of IROC), and leave a IROC or Z-28 grill in there. I could definately see that.

The only thing would be trying that paint scheme on a t-top equipped car. I don't think there would be enough roof to let the stripes flow over the entire length of the car.

But I can definately see that paint scheme.
