waxed car with formula 113 ;P ;P
I just got my formula 113 wax that i ordered. I am pretty pleased with it , it leaves a very deep shine and brings the color out a lot. The best part is how easy it is to use and that u dont have to worry about it going in ure cracks it clears dry. I give it 9.5 out of 10 .

IF i remebr correctly, nu finish is quite abrasive, thus they only reccomned you wax the car once a year with it. ANy more then that and youll just eat away at your clear coat. But i coudl be worng, been alogn tiem since i seen a bottle of it.

Nu-Finish is abrasive, but so is formula 113. That's the reason they both restore old paint so well.
Before anyone says it isn't, try using some on a NON clearcoated panel, and tell me if it doesn't leave paint on your applicator.
I know it does because I've already tried it, Twice.
I believe abrasives have thier place(limited use), but don't try to anybody by saying the Formula 113 doesn't have them,
and please don't respond to this in an argumentative way until you've tryed it on a non clearcoated piece yourself.

Take a product like zaino that is non abrasive and do the same test on the same panel. You will find out that the non abrasive products do the same thing, leave paint on the wax pad.
The formula113 is a super super fine abrasive, baby powder would be more abrasive then the formula113. It would take 20 years of waxing your every day to go through your clear coat.
My 97 Corvette looks better then a new one, people ask me all the time, is that new, they can't believe its a 97 with 50k miles on it.
I will end the debate about abrasives once and for all, we will be making a NON ABRASIVE FORMULA113, So we don't have to hear people yelling, ABRASIVE'S ALL THE TIME.
I will continue to use my original formula113 because I know after 3 years on my vette and over 8 years on my 280zx. over 3 years on the 300zx, they still look NICE! AND THEY SIT OUTSIDE, UNGARAGED!
By the way the vette gets waxed 1 or 2 times a week because it has to look JUST WAXED ALL THE TIME because its part of my display at car shows.
Just remember fellas, ENJOY THE SHINE , YOUR PAINT IS GOING TO BE FINE, SO DON'T LISTEN TO THOSE GUYS WHINE!
LOL

case in point This Thread
and This resulting thread I think he got banned at that site but I'm not sure. You should see the e-mails I got for suggesting that he pay Dirk to advertise here instead of just spamming threads. A little bottle of free wax buys a lot of followers
EDIT:This other thread has a gem of an e-mail from Mr. Prisco himself (or at least someone claiming to be him)

...No abrasive, chemical cleaning agent. I sell these products to many street rodders some of them have very expensive paint jobs and I am not talking about 5 or 10 thousand dollar paint jobs, some are really high end. ..
and...
The formula113 is a super super fine abrasive...

It took a while (month) for my wax to arrive. They appoligized for the delay, and they corrected it. My wax just arrived yesterday and I applied it today. I am very happy with the results. My car almost looks like a mirror!!! I would definately say this wax is the best I have ever used.

Thank you, why change a great formula. I am very suprised it has taken a month for you to get the 113. Remind us on any other orders you may place in the future so I can make up for that
L O N G delay. I would have been pissed off my self.
Things are very hectic around here and I apoligize for the delay.
I know how I can make up for the dealy, if its ok with you? How about a formula113/beadx t- shirt. Please e mail your adress to me with your size and I will send you a t shirt in about a month, ONLY KIDDING.
Enjoy the shine
