235/55R/16 and 245/50R/16...what do you think??

I was thinking of using 235/55R/16 in front and 245/50R/16 in the rear for my car. Id like to have the wide tire look in the rear, but of course with the flush look. I use to have 255/45/17 in front and 275/40/17 and it looked great. Anyone running this set up???(235/55R/16 front and 245/50R/16 rear)

the 235 55s are pretty tall compared to the 245-50's. If you're gonna run those up front, i'd recommend 255-50s in back. They will fit.

i would just go with the 245'a all the way around...it looks good and will handle better than 235's up front and you have the luxuy of being able to rotate them

I agree, 245's all around. The 245's will probably have better handling characteristics because they are a lower profile.

just keep in mind to rotate them the tires need to be dismounted and mounted again because 16" factory rims are front back specific
