gta center cap removal . . .

gta center cap removal . . .
hey guys-just wanted to know how to remove it- just with a screwdriver, or do I have to remove the entire rim and get at it from the back?
and another question, I was reading the post "New Firehawk Wheels...center cap question " and in there I found the pic below-would that thin cap fit on the gta wheels? Or, can anyone tell me where I can find thinner caps then the original gta caps

The centercap should pull straight off. If not, remove the tire and push themm off from the rear. Be very careful as the metal peice likes to detach from the plastic, so if you can help it, don't use a screwdriver.
The WS6 centercap above is for a 4th gen and will not fit on your cap. GM still sells the "badge" for the 3rd gen. I think they were 12-15$ the last time I bought any.

The stock button that goes on the end of the cap is very thin. Thinner than the 4th gen one you have pictures of. Have you removed the bitton from the end of the cap and want something thinner than that?
