hey ONEFORMULA: im not tryin to be smart, im honestly curious, how do you gut a smog pump, do you mean you removed it, or did you SERIOUSLY gut it?

SCREAM--
Well what I did is removed the pump an tore all the insides out,
Valve, three rectangular metal fins (P.T.A) that when the pulley is
turned the centrifugal force pushes those fins outward therefore
causing a bind in the rotation. then you have tow get rid of the
back cover of the pump but you must cut off a bolt hole off the
back cover use that small piece as a spacer to mount the pump
back on. now the pump spins as freely as a pump delete pulley
and no charge and it stills gives off the effect of a smog pump.
it has been like this 4 3 years...
hope that answered your quest.

Here's a few of mine. She's very much a work in progress. :: sigh ::
I was very creative in choosing angles as to show the good parts of the car, lol
Oh well, at least my interior doesn't look like THIS anymore (the previous owner was a moron. Poor car...
It also had a PURPLE velvety headliner. I took it out but I need a replacement headliner. He painted the back hump-shaped panels some gay raspberry color like around the gauges, and made a speaker box in the trunk (which is no longer there) but squirted sillicone sealant all over the original carpet!! Aaargh, I get so mad every time I think about that guy...

...And, of coarse, an engine shot...
I have since removed the heat padding under the hood and plan on installing the functional cowl induction system (if i can FIND one!!). Have also taken out all smog peripherals and done some more cleaning up, but have no new pics yet...
