Hey guys,
I know this isn't 100% ThirdGen related, but I'll make it quick. I've got both Photoshop 7 and Illustrator 10 and I can't for the life of me lasoo my car out of a picture and get it pasted into a sig picture without dragging a square of white backgroud with it. How do you guys do it? I feel dumb asking, but it's bugging the heck out of me! lol Oh well, any quick help/pointers you could provide would be greatly appreciated! Once again, my appologies for this not being specifically ThirdGen tech related, but I feel that it's not an off topic question for this thread.
i have photoshop 7 too, and i can't figure it out either so how 'bout if you know you can tell me, thanks.

Dbarker...if the offer's still open, I'd love one. I have pics posted at https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hlight=deemax. Maybe the side shot...or that, with the front 3/4 view...with my user name above, and my motto "Drive topless...or walk!" across the bottom...with some specs "89 Camaro RS, 355 ci"....whatever you think. You have more experience with that than I do. Thanks!

Hey 88! Glad you like it! What you need to do is find a site to host the picture (I think you can use a cardomain site, but I'm not 100% sure) then open up your user cp here on the forums, then go to "edit profile" and in the section for you signature type in the address for the picture with [*img] at the beginning of it and [/img*] at the end of it(but without the *'s), that should do it. If you need any more help don't hesitate to ask!

hey 88, yeah, use the link from under the properties for the image, use square brackets around the img, and I don't think it matters whether the letters are capital or lowercase. to get the sig to appear you have to click the box in your post that says "Show Signature" otherwise it won't appear, see this post I'm doing right now will not show my signature because I didn't click "Show Signature" but a couple others farther up do show my sig, because I did click the box. Hope this helps!

Hey, How's this RU-QWIK? If you want something else done to the pic let me know and I'll give it a shot

Skahide: That's a cool setup you have, but I think it might be a little too big for a sig pic? It's obviously up to you though! Good job though! It's really fun playing with photo editing software!!

That's a better size for a sig pic, but you might wanna make it narrower too so that it's in proportion, you and your family look a little squished there in the top right corner. If you make the pic narrower that should take care of it.
