You have to use HTML or VB code to do this. Or just use the browse button. Its easy I do it all day.
Browse button.
When you typing a post or reply scroll down and click browse. Find the pic of you hard drive and click to open it. It puts the path in browse and when you finished the pic will post.
HTML
<IMG SRC=Put your address goes here>
VB
Dont type the *(star) in this one. I have to do it so your
Browser doesnt think I'm trying to post a pic. I just want
You to see the code here.
[*IMG]Put your address goes here[*/IMG]
You might ask "where is the address of my pic?" Well this is the tricky part. You will need a Web host for your pics that come from your pc. Pics that you find on the web you can right click them and go to properties and it shows you the address of the pic you clicked on. Just highlight then whole address (make sure you get the .JPG or .GIF part at the end) and copy it. Go back to you post or reply and paste it in the address where it belongs. I have not found a good web host that will hold you pix so that you can store them there and use the copy paste method. But you can always go to www.google.com and search for free web host. Remeber that some free web host dont let you do this copy paste deal. In that case you will come back here, do everthing right and it doesnt work. All you might get is a big red X. Now thats a load of fun right?
Copy and paste:
copy,
Hold ctrl and press C
Paste,
Hold ctrl and press V

Go to the main page of this website. https://www.thirdgen.org then look for the reader rides section and creat a page. it is really easy you can link to pictures there like redbird is telling you how to. that is where my signature pic is located. Also try cardomain.com they allow you to make a page that holds pictures. pretty easy.

Ahh... such a krock. I want a sig though! come on load the software.... It been awhile since I've seen this also. Some one must have broght it back from the boneyard. Anywayz everyone can try and make their own sigs if they want to give it a try for 30 dayz. Check out www.adobe.com and www.macromedia.com both full versions of photochop and flash work for 30 dayz till you want to buy them. If not and you are more worried about getting that post count up then just keep posting here and someone will get around to it.

Thanks, I don't really know what I'd want. Just whatever you think would look cool. Also, my e-mail's tamatt27@hotmail.com, if you want to reach me. Thanks!!

Hey guys,
I know this isn't 100% ThirdGen related, but I'll make it quick. I've got both Photoshop 7 and Illustrator 10 and I can't for the life of me lasoo my car out of a picture and get it pasted into a sig picture without dragging a square of white backgroud with it. How do you guys do it? I feel dumb asking, but it's bugging the heck out of me! lol Oh well, any quick help/pointers you could provide would be greatly appreciated! Once again, my appologies for this not being specifically ThirdGen tech related, but I feel that it's not an off topic question for this thread.
Thanks so much!
-Paul
