ROH snyper owners....

I would like to hear from guys with snyper rims if they had the chance would they have gotten their rims chrome. I believe now (after 3 months) that i'm ready to order and now i'm having 2nd thoughts about getting chrome. Does anyone wish they would have???? Why didn't you get them chrome? I talked to Kim today at www.jdwheels.com and she gave me some prices. $1300 for chrome 17X8 snypers(take about 5-6 weeks) and $1320 for machined finish 17X8 snypers with tires, lugs, etc...what does everyone think? My dad still wants me to get 17" cragar SS, we almost got in a fist fight today!!! I really need some advice!! any suggestions would be great. thanks guys!

I love the finish that comes on the snypers, its very low maintance. I never even considered chrome because the salt air living on the beach is hell on chrome wheels. I myself really don't care for the snypers in chrome that much and I'm sure I would not have got them chrome even if I didn't live by the beach.

Thanks for the Input Superman I'm just at a crossroad and don't know what to do. I keep saying tom. i will order then tom. comes and i'm still undecided, Hell...all this time i could have had them already! I just really like chrome and think i would give my paint a deeper look. But my Z is kept outside all the time so...i don't care for cleaning the chrome all the time on the other hand!!

P.S. you other guys with snypers, quit being bums and tell me what i should do!!!!

I like the machined finish on my Snypers.I like chrome wheels, but for some reason don't care too much for the Snypers in chrome. They look good, don't get me wrong, but i would rather stick to the machined clearcoat finish they originally came in.

I just ordered my ROH snypers from jdwheels. I went with 17x9's all the way around so I can rotate. The rims were supposed to be delivered today but they didn't come

Oh well I am sure they will be here tommorrow. I would just go with the regular rims. I wouldn't chrome them. I never thought chrome looked great on are style of cars.. My vote is for NO CHROME...

WHat kind of tires are you getting? I got Sumitomo HTRZII tires in 245/40/17 off tirerack for $122 a piece. Its a hell of a deal and they are down to $115 now.. Surely 1 day after I get them they mark them down!!! They have an AWESOME tread design and are a great bargain for a Z rated tire... I will have pics once the rims and tires are on the car...

LPE383,

Your pic did not come through on my end but it may have for others. My car is lowered with the Eibach springs which are lower than the pro kit. I like them a lot but they rattle pretty bad in the rear. But I guess that is normal for our cars. the place that did them for me said all camaros do that when lowered with those springs. My other mods are in my sig.

Quick: There is a story behind the 2 spoilers! My Z was originally grey(silver) whatever! So when i got my hood i decided to change the color. I didn't have alot of money then so i found this guy that would block the hood and everything for that, fix some dingers in the door and put the wing on. All for $700!! I was so happy. For a color change and all the work i counldnt' beat that. I told him 3 or more times the day i dropped the car off (this was 3 yrs ago) that i wanted that spoiler off! So when i get the car it's still on..i was a lil mad but then he told me while putting the other wing on he drilled down and hit my window in back (this is why it isn't tinted) and it shattered so he had to replace it! These back windows are not cheap. So basically i can't complain. I'm just used to both of them now!

If i was a *****, i would just say that i need the extra downforce!!
