Flowtech Purple Hornies/Red Hots

I got a suggestion from a friend to get rid of my 40 series Flowmaster and put on Header Mufflers. Do they bolt strait on to Hooker Competition Headers? Thanks

Should have posted this on the exhaust board. I don't see the point of getting rid of the flow for the Purple Hornie. It might sound like crap.
