Accel Superram and DFI
Just wondering if I can get an opinion or two about this package. I have a 383 with 440 horse and 465 ft lbs torque. I will be placing this in my 1992 Form 350. I have heard many different opinions about which manifold to use (HSR, Mini Ram etc.) But I am looking at the Accel part number #77131. I figure this package, albeit expensive, is comprehensive. Upper and lower mainfold, TB, DFI, injectors, all sensors, fuel injectors, fuel pump, etc, etc. I am looking for a system I don't need to fool with all the time. I understand I am going to need to have it tuned, which I will by Second Street Speed, but as far as price, ease of installation and overall performance, what do you think? The Accel Superram is near impossible to get alone, and if you can get it new it is over $1000.00 with the lower included. I don't have the time to piece meal all the parts anyway. It is probably more expensive this way as well. Just looking for some FRIENDLY opinions or info. Thanks.

ACCEL DFI Super-Ram Fuel Injection Systems for Small Block Chevy
Convert your small block to fuel injection with ACCEL DFI Super-Ram fuel injection systems for small block Chevy.
Convert your carbureted small block Chevy to multi-port electronic fuel injection with these ACCEL DFI Super-Ram fuel injection systems for small block Chevy. Using a tuned plenum/runner combination, these ACCEL DFI Super-Ram fuel injection systems for small block Chevy provide a balanced inlet air charge to all eight combustion chambers. In addition, their resonant pressure wave (producing the "ram effect") is designed to occur at higher rpm. This means that when the OEM TPI manifold is beginning to run out of steam, the Super-Rams kick into gear and shine. With these ACCEL DFI Super-Ram fuel injection systems for small block Chevy, you can expect improved performance, drivability, and economy. They offer more power than OEM-style TPI systems, but still have EGR availability for emissions control capability.

Did you check this board?

Here is a Superram FAQ thread: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/alte...m-threads.html
Hope that helps. Would you like me to move this thread to that board? You may receive quicker answers.
Good luck to you.

I guess. I know all the basic information on the Superram. What I am looking for is opinions on the whole package together. Worth it, not worth it?

Re: Accel Superram and DFI
It doesn't seem you're getting the replies here, so I'm going to move it alt efi and hope you get better replies. I've not used the Superram, only LTR's and MiniRamII.
Good luck.
Good luck.
