Thanks, I'll search for that thread.
I'm very curious about how it turns out. Do you guys have a time line for startup?

Most excellent! I'm am really looking forward to seeing the results as I think it is the way I want to go...and depending on how it turns out I probably. Keep up the good work!
Also, what is the current status on these projects? I don't see any new threads here.
P.S. If you remember, maybe you could post in here or PM me when the dyno goes up, sometimes I don't get on the forum for months. Really looking forward to it!

Yeah, thanks. I just read the thread of your motor. That is amazing that you are peaking that high in power. That is a stock FIRST base and then cut up runners/plenum, is that right? Amazing!

The First intake manifold has been worked over some. Mainly squaring away the port entry and exits making them uniform. On ports 1 & 8 I had to hogg our the middle some as the ports narrowed for the thermostat area and the distributor for port 8.
True on the runners and plenum.
Now that I know the motor will rev that high we have a new one in the works. Stay tuned.

I read your plans, and trust me, I will definitely stay tuned.
Wow, I wonder if my SR runners can be made to bolt up to a FIRST base...

I think you can be about just as well off modifying the Edelbrock or Accel intake manifold. That is what we are doing. Yes you can modify the Accel runners to fit a First intake following what I did.
I just don't know how much clearance there would be for the fuel rails after the modification. I'm in the prossess of upgrading the SuperRam intake manifold and runners for more flow.

Yeah, I'm interested to see how that progresses. Either way, this is making me rethink the intake change to a single plan EFI that I had been planning on.
