HSR adjustable regulator
Has anyone else have problems with the Holley adjustable fuel pressure regulator?
Is there a better one recommended for this fuel rail?

When I turn the key to on, the pressure measures 40 but goes down to 0 and leaks out where the adjust screw is, when the cars running its all over the place.
Does anyone know the adjustable Kirban or BBK regulator part number for this rail?

Kirban unit for sure. Money well spent.
My holley was constantly changing, flooding, then lean.
Never had a bit of problem with this unit.

Me too, I called Holley and they told me they would replace it with a new one "IF" I had a receipt, but I bought mine used, unfortuately.
I like the Kirban but the fuel line routing may be an issue

They would't replace mine either, so I said **** them and bought the kirban. What kind of fuel line issues do you think you'll run into? I've seen a lot of guys run these but I've never heard anything about having trouble with fuel lines.

My FP is all over the place too. I'm not sure if it's the regulator or the gauge though. I've read about many issues with the stock HSR regulators.

If you have a receipt for the purchase of your HSR, Holley will give you a new AFPR "IF" you return the bad AFPR with a receipt.
If any one has a receipt that I could use to get me a new AFPR, I would be willing to pay you half the cost of buying a new one.
You could scan me a copy of the receipt, or I can send you the AFPR and I wil send money for mailing it to Holley, and money for sending it back to me.
email me.

Re: HSR adjustable regulator
This site is awesome. I'll be buying the Kirban unit tomorrow. Thanks for the part number and website listing guys! I have a Vortec HSR that I'm installing in my car this week. Heard a few people talking about the AFPR that comes with the HSR fuel rail kit. This seems to be a nice replacement.
Thanks again!

Got my Kirban today, awesome piece, well made Billet machined
I decided to keep my holley fuel rails.\ and get the Kirban
If anyone that has a new HSR wants to buy my Holley AFPR cheap, you could send it in for an exchange, and sell the new one, just a thought

Got a Kirban already, works good, only thing is getting my engine tweeked to work proper with this setup.
The timing is off as well, I dont think it was a good idea changing intakes, Im rather dissapointed.

Re: HSR adjustable regulator
Im running both lines from the back as well, its the only way I can install without issues.
Theres a few mods that need to be done to get this right, I found it to be a pain since theres no help to install on these cars.
Some trial and error but eventually it works.
