Building engine, which FI setup?
I have a 91 L98 that is about to get a new engine. I have the shortblock done and the heads here. I bought the pro topline 220/64cc and plan on using the comp xfi292 hydraulic cam in a 350 +.040" with forged pistons. I can't decide on which fuel injection to use. I like the idea of using the miniram but its just toooo expensive. Ive been thinking about the HSR, since its also easy to hook up. I can use all of the stock wiring and computer with it. Can anyone chime in here and let me know what you think?

I almost bought a set of those ebay ones last winter, but I figured i'd hold off. After watching B4CTOM go through the trouble of getting a set to work with an intake, I went with trickflows instead.
Assuming they are normal heads:
HSR is prolly the best bang for the buck. A 1205 port HSR will flow nearly what I'm flowing on my singleplane, and in some situations (street car) can be a better setup. I think for a high HP (upwards of 500hp) N/A car a HSR is just a peachy intake.
For a boosted setup in the same or higher HP range, i'm a huge fan of singleplane intakes. I spent a year experimenting with a DIY intake I made, and then graduated to a holley MPFI manifold with a 1,000cfm 4bbl throttle body.
Let's get some more feedbacks, and maybe a picture of your heads and we can discuss this furthur.

These are the pro toplines with the 220cc runners. The intake ports are HUGE. I bought the because a friend of mine had a set on an engine he built a couple of years ago that impressed the hell out of me. If you go to www.protopline.com then racing iron, then small chevy, they are the 223400020a heads.

Heres a link where we discussed them last year.

When pro-topline went out of business and was sold, a ton of them ended up on ebay for short money. I'm saying under $500 for a set.

The heads are still made under a different name. They aren't necessarily "oddball" heads. They flow like crazy!!! You just need to either modify an intake or find one that fits. I wasn't asking which intake fits, i was asking which one would work best. I will modify it if i have to. These are 220cc runners, i dont think they are the same heads that were discussed in that other post. Also, they arent stock heads that have been ported, they are brand new.
