slp runners or HSR
i was just wondering if i should run the slp high flow runners or just breakdown and ditch the TPI and throw on a stealth ram, or some other intake manifold.

depends if youre looking to keep more low end torque or move to more high RPM horsepower. I had them both and I'd take the HSR any day. The torque loss with the HSR is very overrated, still very easy to spin the tires from a stop.

What about Superram? Smog Leagal, TPI Style, Feasible of making LT1 type power.

the super ram is a PITA to work on, even worse than regular TPI setups. the HSR is a breeze...
I'm not saying the HSR is the best, I just happen to like them and think its the most cost effective useful upgrade for TPI f-bodies, except for maybe a converted LT1 intake or a converted singleplane.

if ya do a a SR and dont have to take it bakc off its only a PITA once. The Billit lids are just fine.
but you will spend more on a SR then a HSR thats for sure.
Looks I like the SR over the HSR
Ive had em all.

I had both HSR & SR. The SR is a total pain to work on, but had great mid range punch & pushed the Z into the low 13's. Never had any vacuum leaks. Ask TPI383, he has my old SR. The HSR is a breeze to work on, has power from 2k to 6k & helped get me to the 11's. If you don't need EGR, the HSR rocks.

you could get the new manifold/feul rails with afpr for around 600 if im not mistaken. i have someone here that has one new in box but isnt going to use it. hes giving it to me for like 450 with the rails and afpr i cant wait.
