383 HSR power numbers?
Hey guys, my computer harness will be in tomm for my TBI to HSR swap. I was wondering where would I stand in HP and Tq ratings. Here is my setup:
-383 with 9.5 compression with 180cc AFR heads, 218/224 flat tappet hydraulic cam, 1.52 Pro Magnum roller rockers, HSR system, 32 lb injectors, and a 48mm TB with 1 5/8" shorty headers just for breakin.
-I will be adding a 58mm TB and 1 3/4 long tubes ceramic coating after a break in period and I get some money back.
How much with the setup I have now and the one I will have later. I played around with my Desktop 2000 and it said around 480 hp and 500 ft lbs of tq. Does this sound right or not?

i really don't think those numbers are close. i have a similar setup and i think i'm looking at 300 or so at the wheels. if you go to http://www.stealthram.com/ and readers rides you can get some power numbers.
I'm running with out tuning to much a 8.4 in the 1/8. If you have any questions let me know.

yea my set up is close to yours and i dont think that i am making anywhere close to thoes hp numbers. it all depends on how well you tune. if your into tuning than you will be better off. i datalog and send out the file and this guys does the tunning for me but it takes awhile to get back and forth with each other. one day i will learn it but i have other things going on now

Yea, I posted both on them at the same time and rhiton told me so, that's why I stopped on the post but I am now commenting on the tune of it. Its got a good tune but once I get some other stuff done, it will be time for a dynotune.

Well he got his answer. I don't see any more technical discussion, so i'll close this unless someone strongly dissagrees.
