ZR1 wheel/ tire package...(rear 17x11 silver) best price? Custom offset fronts?
Looking for the best price on a complete ZR1 set of wheels, rear 17x11, front 17x9.5, with tires and centercaps. Need another set! I know someone's done it before...also, anyone know of a front SS/ZR1 wheel that is made in custom offsets? I'd rather do that. Rather not run spacers if possible up front, got a 4thgen rear.
Any and all help would certainly kick ***!!! I am SOOOOO close to getting the beast up and running!! Drivetrain install next month! Been waiting for over a year! Damn fuel injectors...
I would consider Z06 wheels but I'm not sure how they'd look, and everyone who sells them chrome, I like painted. Chances are the care will be black and silver, same silver color as the wheels. Anyone with ZR-1's or Z06's on a black or silver Camaro, let's see!!! Thanks!!!:hail:

Does anyone run rear 17x11 ZR1/ss wheels on a thirdgen? ANYONE?

asklute does. e-mail him, he will tell you all about it or just go to his web site. The info is on his site. P.S. Look on the Power Adder board. Good luck and post the pictures when it is done.

Hi (speak of the devil!) I'm running the 17x11/9.5 ZR1 combination on the Z28tt. I've asked for custom offsets, but the mfg houses would need to make a mold change at about $40k. The choices are to run 17x9.5 ROH ZS or 17x9" ROH Snypers, which we do carry in thirdgen offsets for all four corners, or to run bolt-on billet adapters (which we also carry). A popular combination is the 17x11's in the rear with a 4th gen rear axle, and the 17x9.5's in the front with a pair of 2" billet adapters. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask!

My biggest concern is he strength of the adapters...I plan on cornering with it pretty hard and want to rest assured that I won't have any mishaps related to them.Other than that I had some on my car before and they fit great!

I road race the twin turbo Z28tt with the billet adapters, once or twice a month in season (Watkins Glen, LRP, hopefully Pocono and VIR this season). It's a 3800 lb Camaro that I've measured with the (innaccurate) G-Tech at 1.16 G's with the race tires. I've also snapped the axles and bent driveshafts with them. If I didn't trust the adapters, I wouldn't be using them. They are just as strong as your hub, and probably have higher grade studs than OEM.
