I've emailed Jegs several times on this subject and still no reply. Initially the director of sales called me and fed me a bunch of BS. I wasn't satisfied

OK Jegs..here ya go. I got the sweetest little letter here addresed to the Better Business Bureau on sooooo many other things ON TOP OF what has been said on this board. My attorney wrote it just to liven it up a little. I would like to know exactly why it doesn't seem like you want our business b/c any businesspeople (smart or dumb) would probably figure out that this anger towards "JEGS" can't, in any way, be good for the betterment of the company. I know, you're not concerned because your attornies are all over it right????....WRONG this time. Please formally post on this board an apology for the worst possible service and/or an explanation w/ the "expert Tech dept.".....I would like to formally exclude the tech. "Chris" ("who is the only "Chris" there at night") b/c countless times he has been a true help to myself as well as many oters here on the board, etc. I don't know him personally nor have ever met him........
Thank you,

I was discussing this with a friend of mine today and we came up with the fact that we have spent over $14000 in parts from jegs and never had a single problem. Maybe we are just lucky. But my bad service has always came from summit. I am always happy to spend my money with jegs. I am sempethethc (spelling?) with you guys I have had many problems out of summit and I think it is sorry that any company would hire people to represtent them on the phon that would give a negative impression on the phone. Driving away business with attitude of your employes is like pi$$ing into the wind. It doesn't get you or your customer anywere.

I have bought from both summit and jegs, and I like summit better, parts get here quickly, usually a little cheaper, not much but when you spend a couple grand it adds up. I also think shipping is cheaper. The only thing is I will not buy any more of summits own brand stuff, I bought spindles and fuel pump setup, both were junk and have been replaced.

What shipping co. do Summit & Jegs use? I think I got my ram clutch & stage 8 header bolts from Summit 'cause it was shipped FedEx ground, and I will not deal with UPS...

Bought a March Alt. bracket from Jegs, that was 5 bucks cheaper then Summit.
Placed order on Friday afternood, checked the order tracking, and my package is already at the UPS hub, with in 6 hours of my order.
It doesn't get any better then that.

Never had a problem with Jegs.

I even bought a Jegs AL dash, and the product quality was A+...

JEGS, SUmmit, PAW

I have never dealth with jegs.... but Ihave dealt with PAW and Summit.... Of the two... I life PAW for the HUGE CATALOG.. the best one.. but in terms of service i belive summit is better. Know I have never had any experience like your with either summit of PAW... what I do normally is use PAW catalog and order in summits... SUmmit normally gets all the parts.

dam this thread is old, but i still would like to add that IMO summit is a better parts dealer than jegs, even tho they both try to suck u in with "free shipping" and then charge u the same price u would normally pay for both "Shipping & handling" for just "handling"... summit is cheaper, and the techs are still just as helpful or more helpful than jegs

Before I was an avid Jegs fan but as of late with the "Dollar Days" I am turned off from them for a while. I ordered a bunch of shirts and stuff and then 2 weeks later I find that the backordered shirts will never come in. They failed to mention this to me and never credited my credit card account. I had to bitch. Then I found a sweet deal on cross drilled and dimpled rotors for 20 bucks compared to the normal 200. They sent me 1 and forgot to mention that they will never get anymore. Once again I had to call and bitch to have them credit my account. What the hell would I do with 1 rotor? Don't you think they would ask if I still wanted it if there was only 1 left in the warehouse? Enough of my ranting.

BTW I still haven't received credit for the 2 rotors that I paid for and received 1 that was sent back!!!

90% of the parts on my car were ordered from Jegs. I have never had a problem ,they always get the parts to me fast.

I used to order from summit, but got tired of waiting on hold for ever.

Jegs was ewven able to help me get the B&M shift plate, that was not listed on B&M's site yet.

I swear by jegs and have had nothing but good service. I broke my aluminum racing jack from them by jacking up my explorer in the mud by just the edge of the pad so the ring that holds the pad to the jack broke. They sent me a prepaid shipping label, which i lost, so they sent me another one, which i didnt loose :-D, and I shipped the jack back, they had another one shipped out the same day, got it 2 days later! All on my mistake. The design is improved and I love it! Very good people, alot of times they know what I dont know what im talking about, maybe they educated their people since 2001! I have loved all of my orders from them, never had a SINGLE problem. PLUS NOW FREE 1-2 DAY SHIPPING! Can't beat that! I will continue to order from then before any where else.

I love Jegs and like their prices. Summit is good but jegs is better. I have done over 15 orders with them. I have also called up their tech help and got great advice free and I wasn't even buyig anything. They really try to help you out if somthing is back ordered and stuff like that.

Actually it is very solid. At least a 1/4" thick on the sides and the actual lifting arm is about 1/2-5/8" thick. Same thing they use in nascar. Light as frickin hell though. Very nice. Rated to 2 tons so i feel safe putting up the front of a 3X00 pound car (less then half of it when doing the front or w/e) Sure is a hell of a lot better then the team mechanix jack we had for like $20. That was thin sheet metal nearly, that one actually broke in the valve when lifting the rear of my car. Came crashing down, Lucky I didnt break my head with its 10" handle.

I, too, prefer Summit by far. If you need customer service at Summit, contact Scott Esterle. I can get his e-mail if anyone wants it. He frequents another Pontiac board I am a member of, and has a sterling reputation for being a knowledgeable Pontiac guy who cares about the customer. Can't beat that.

Let me start off by saying that jegs website is pure ****. I was going to order a cat back for my brothers car, but every single listing stated that it was made only for dual cats, so i purchased from summit, got it in 3 bussiness days over christmas. Very pleased. As for jegs TPI section in their catalog, How many airfoils can you fit in your car?

Personnally I have been very disappointed with summit. I have tried ordering a catalog 4 times on the internet and 2 times on the phone, over the past 5 months and still havent gotten one, gues they just dont want my money, jegs and ebay get it then!

Well I have an odd experience with Jegs... I ordered an MSD 6 AL for my old Camaro and when I recieved the package I recieved a 6 A unit in addition to the 6 AL. now that was odd... but then a year or so later I ordered anonther MSD 6 AL and guess what... they sent me an additional 6 A unit in addition to the 6 AL I ordered... not once but twice this happend to me.
