Walbro/TI Automotive
I had a problem with my Walbro fuel pump failing on me. I read about my same problem happening to another group of cars. They got together with TI Automotive (parent company of Walbro) and got their faulty pumps replaced n/c with factory new ones. Apparently, there was a return-for-new situation until 2009 on this pump. I did not know about this until a couple weeks ago (long after the return had expired). I sent TIA a couple emails explaining my problem and why it hadn't occurred until now, hoping I'd receive the same generous treatment. Within two weeks, I had a factory new pump shipped to me no charge.
I am so grateful to Walbro for helping me out and standing behind their product. The representative was courteous, helpful, and gracious. I recommend Walbro pumps to anyone who is interested in an upgrade over stock. They back their products fully and are more than willing to talk it out.
